One major improvement, one degradation in convenience charging.
I understand why the USB-C connector to charge, but I greatly preferred the magnetic connector on your previous units. You did finally fix the delay on wake from sleep bug.

Overall these are fantastic. The sound is amazing, and the battery life is superb. The only thing I wish is that I had bought a mini, as the size is a little large for me

Not as good as my old one
I love these headphones. Your product is amazing, however, this new system you have here does not work as well. Talk texting. I also don't like the whole all over my ear wrap. I just want my old headphones back, but my dog chewed them.
Lastly, the buttons are hard to operate where the old one was just seamless

Impressive
Having experience with the first gen Open Run, I find the Pro 2 to give a big improvement in sound. No heat from an over the ears headset, no uncomfortable in ear pods, these give good sound while keeping your ears open to outside sounds when you need it, like cycling for me.

Perfect for zoom meetings and so easy to wear I forget they are there . . .
I tried out my new Pro2 Shokz in a zoom meeting
the mike put my voice right in the room and bone conduction sound put the voices talking to me . . . well, right inside my head, without more volume.
Without thinking about it went right to the audio book I'm reading while doing the rest of my day. They are so easy to wear, I literally forgot they were there.

A bit heavier, but still very comfortable
Only a few quibbles with the Open Run Pro: I really liked the ease of the old proprietary mag-latch charge cord. The USB-C charger on the new unit is cludgey by comparison. The full bass is a game changer.

The +/- volume button has vastly improved with this new version. I previously had the AS800 I believe it was. Sound quality is excellent. Overall it is a fantastic product. I can't cycle without it!

OpenRun 2 Mini
Listening with these headphones is very pleasurable. I can still hear everything around me while listening at work. Not completely sure I got the right size headphones, there is some minor discomfort at the speaker opening. Sound Quality is amazing. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase I would not hesitate to purchase again.

I don't love that you have to turn them on and off because i am forgetful. It would be nice to have a feature if it hasn't played anything in 20 mins, they automatically shut off. Maybe they just don't sit exactly right on me, but they don't seem very loud at all, which when outside and running windy, or even in a busy gym, can really affect being able to hear it.

Highly recommend!
The bass is so much better then the last version, the new app is useful and easy to use. Great product! Wearable all day every day in comfort and the new mini size hugs my head much better then the larger size. Shokz is by far the best brand at bone conduction headphones!

Open ear mini
I have smaller ears and head and these fit perfectly and are so comfortable that I forget I'm wearing them! Sound only leaks when at a high volume in a quiet room.

This is my fifth or sixth pair of Shokz - they just keep getting better. The sound quality and comfort on these is fantastic, and I appreciate that they use a C-charger now instead of the unique charging cable.

happy with upgrade
I have used openrun pro for the past few years. the main reason I upgraded was to get the USB C charger interface and get away from the proprietary magnet. but additional bonuses include the upgraded sound quality, the additional EQ profiles (to include a custom slider), and the ability to turn the bass speakers on or off (and go back to fully classic bone conduction mode). comfort is the same as the old, no better or worse. they just work and work well. I think the only negative I can say is that the bass speakers have more noise leaking than the pure bone conduction mode, so my partner hears my audio books and podcasts more when we are nearby than before.

These are a great option for my runs where I don't need noise cancellation
I'm loving the OpenRun Pro2 headphones that I recently got. I made a switch from Airpods after having some vestibular pressure and not always wanting noise cancelation.
These are very easy to use once I got started, the sound quality is great and the battery has held for my med-long runs to date.
The only downside is that I'm between sizes, the smaller size was a bit snug, but the larger size is almost a bit big, especially wearing run headbands now that the weather is cooler. Additionally, the pause button isn't the most intuitive to find by feel.
