Great product at first but degraded quickly (structure) - Not support in Europe
I Bought the Mutha Hubba tent a few years back. I loved it on the first through hikes I did with it (easy to build, great fabric, light, spacious). Everything I was looking for. Unfortunately after a couple of years, the elastic thread holding the poles together and supporting the build lost all its elasticity, becoming much longer. It makes it impossible to fit the poles together so to build the tent and make sure it holds properly (no way I sleep in it in windy conditions). It is a shame since I took good care of it (the rest is intact and I haven't lost any piece).
I'm based in France and there is no SAV, nor clear possibility to buy spare parts. I find it crazy that I cannot just replace the thread or even the structure easily since it is a small part of the whole. This product is too costly not to offer proper/equal support & parts to all customers.

Hello, I am a fan of the MSR brand. A pole on my hubba hubba hp tent broke during an expedition. I have to replace it. I live in France. How to buy the frame of the tent, is it possible and where? THANKS

I bought these for use with the Rendezvous 200 and the poles are too long to fit in the bag. Bad design. Wing works well, though.

Game changer for bikepacking
This is exactly what I needed to let me use my favourite trekking pole tent on my bikepacking trips. This pole is light and very sturdy. Instead wasting time finding just the right trees to string a guy line, I can now enjoy a perfect pitch everytime.

Great poles, used for years. But lost one, bought a new one and end piece is a different length? The holes are drilled in the same place, and yes I realize it comes in different sizes, but I'm talking about an old M vs a new M.
Am I crazy? Do I need to drill new holes to make them even?

Construction and quality are top
Construction and quality are top notch. Proper 6061 aluminum main shafts with tightly fitted couplers. These poles are flexible and well suited for rugged wind, snow and rain. Tough gear for a mountaineer (or a soccer dad who wants to look rugged). Well done.

Just what we wanted - and needed - for a newly designed 'sun' tarp (that
we used on the Green River, Utah in April). Quality product, nothing to snag

Now I can use the ski poles for skiing!
Purchased for back-country ski backpacking with my Black Diamond BetaLIght tent. First time out, it did not occur to me that I couldn't simultaneously have my tent up with ski poles and go on a ski tour with the same poles. Second time, the adjustable poles solved the problem. They are not the lightest addition to my pack weight, but well worth it to be able to set up tent then go play.

Great product
Cheap poles that came with awning bent & broke under high winds. Bought these poles as replacement. Sturdy, strong. Held excellent in high winds. 8 ft adjustable heights was a huge plus to change angle of tarp for rain roll off and more.

Great awning poles
Solid poles for my DIY van awning. Looked at variety of lightweight adjustable imported poles. They all felt and looked very flimsy. The MSR poles stay locked when adjusted and don't flex with weight or wind.
