My central pole broke - Remote 2
Last June I bought a new remote 2 tent on eBay. I have Camped in several places including Denali. I am satisfied with the tent. On my last excursion to Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, in Colombia, the central pole broke. I need to replace them, where do I buy them. I have photos.Do I have a guarantee? Please.

Why not replace the broken part ?
I would like to replace the broken piece of tube itself rather than "cover the wound" with a splint.
Unfortunately MSR does not seem to sell the original parts.

Had to cut the elastic to get to the broken piece but it seems to be holding up well.

Used the narrower of the two splints for a 2003 MSR Sidewinder 3 field repair in 2017. With duct tape, it made an excellent repair. I did have to unpick about 3 inches of the narrowest part of the hem of the fabric "channel" the pole fits through to make the splint slide through completely, But on reflection, I could have undone the shock cord and shuffled the broken segment near to one end.
