As advertised. 2 MSR adjustable poles. Plan to use for small tarp so I can use trekking poles for day hikes when in camp. $10 cheaper at Sunny Sports than at other online vendors, too!!

The 4' poles here do come packaged as a pair from MSR. I don't know about the 5' or 6' poles, according to MSR those come as single poles. My 4' poles arrived four days after ordering. Here are some details: Each of the 4' poles weighs 6.75 oz (191 g), 17-1/4" long and about 1-1/8" diameter when folded. Poles are 1/2" diameter, with a rubber cap at one end and a 1/4" diameter spur about 1" long at the other end. These poles have three locked positions 4" apart, so from tip to tip you can go 48-1/4", 52-1/4", or 56-1/4" (subtract 1" for length just to the start of the spur tip). One nice detail, MSR added a black line down the inner pole in line with the locking mechanism, which makes it easy to line up when adjusting the pole. I think typically you would set the rubber cap at the ground and set the spur through a grommet or line, but I will use this to prop up a tarp with no grommet or hole in the center, so I may turn that around to set the spur into the ground and press the rubber cap up to the tarp instead, or just put something over the spur to make a duller point.
