Lots of thought went into the design of this tent. Easy setup and takedown. This packs nicely and can be strapped to any part of the bike. I'm not gentle on things. This tent passed the test.

Super light but sets up easily and perfect for a 1 person bikepacking shelter.

I really want to give this tent all the stars. I spent a lot of money and was super excited about carrying less tent weight. But it condenses like crazy. I get "rained" on during the night and wake up with a wet sleeping bag. The bathtub is too low and needs to be raised another inch+. I slept in a medium rain and it splashed up onto the mesh from the ground outside and soaked the mesh under the fly. I was outside in the rain adjusting stakes to drop the fly, which just increased condensation. I think it would be fine as long as I know it's not going to pour. I had wanted it as a thru-hiking option, but won't use it for that. It really doesn't compare to the Seedhouse 2 that I love. I would rather carry the extra weight and know that I'll be dry and have a bit of extra room.

I use this primarily for bikepacking and I find it packs very nicely across the handlebars. Depending on frame size you could probably fit it along your top tube, or maybe downtube. It's quick to setup and has been remarkable durable. I've owned it for a few years now and the only complaint is that the cord in the tent poles has started to stretch, but that can be easily fixed. For how light weight the tent is I was skeptical of the durability but the tent has held up perfectly

The vestibule is disappointing. The side entry to the tent is small so the vestibule is compromised but I'll have to live with that.

This tent sets up very rapidly and is extremely light. I was considering a 'bare bone' type of tent that is popular with thru-hikers, but for a few more ounces, I have a conventional, self-standing tent with lots of great features.

I'm an older but enthusiastic backpacker, and this tent is perfect- I have the single person model. Set up is intuitive and easy; I'm a small person, so feels roomy enough. It really is very light and compact to carry. Keeps me dry and warm! Very pleased with it.

I have the older Fly Creek model and I'd say that this one is roomier and the foot redesign is so much better. Previously the foot would collapse on my sleeping bag if it wet not staked out perfectly. The only issues I have are with the stakes and the front vestibule. I had one stake bend and one string break on the very first night I used it. The front vestibule is hard to use because of the stake positions.

I used this tent for all 500 miles of the Colorado Trail in 2022. Fly Creek never let me down. I stayed solidly dry in all conditions and did a quick setup every time. The last week on the trail, I had a pole break, but I was able to create a solution to get me through. Fantastic customer service when I needed the replacement pole; they ensured I had the right part for my tent and coached me on replacing the piece.

I backpack frequently and have used this tent from the desert of New Mexico to ANWR. It's more than spacious enough for me and my gear but weighs next to nothing. I've spent more than a few rainstorms in the tent with minimal condensation. One down side: this is not the kind of tent where you want to hang out and read or play cards - it's just for sleeping.

Pro: light weight Cons: difficult to set up when windy, don't like opening at head end, bottom difficult to stretch out nicely.

This is the first premium and ultralight tent I have ever purchased. It is going to be perfect for bikepacking. The zippers and hardware are all super tiny, which I did not expect, but seem sturdy.

I love this tent. I hate to carry unnecessary weight when I want to wonder the mountains and this tent makes it easy. Less weight means a back that doesn't hurt.

Love this amazing tent. My first purchase of Big Agnes tent and I love it! The cylinder shape is good for my backpack. Very light but really roomy for a solo hiker. The internal organizer gives me plenty of space to store gear. It would be perfect if it has an extendable guyline which is good for a rocky area. The attached photos are my modification. Thank you!

I bought this tent to accompany my son's Boy Scout crew on a 6 day trek at Philmont. I didn't test it on our shakedown hikes so was worried about the size and waterproofing. Turns out it was really comfortable and warm, very quick and easy to set up, and stayed dry despite several downpours and rainy nights. Only downside was the light fabric color on the case and stake/pole bags really showed the mud that accumulated:) Hosing it down now to let it dry out for storage until the next trip. The only other improvement that could be made is the knots on the tent guy lines are not adjustable so before a hike they should be untied and redone as taut line hitches. Better yet, they should be adjustable plastic tabs like the fly guy lines.

This tent is without a doubt the best tent I've ever owned. I've had it for almost 5 years now and use it probably 30-45 days a year, usually on multiday unsupported kayak camping trips. I am not easy on my gear, but it continues to perform amazingly time and time again. It's so lightweight and durable. I love it.

Been using this in the Sierra and everywhere else for years now. Never failed, wind, rain, snow. Perfect for 1 person. Light, compact. Vestibule under rain fly is great. I need a few poles replaced, I'll report back on how easy to request from Agnes herself.

This review is for the non-solution dyed Fly Creek HV UL1 I like this tent, I'm not going to complain about being cramped inside because it's a 1P tent and minimal room should be obvious. All I do is sleep in it. All of my use has been in the mountains of western Maine, usually on peaks high enough to be in the alpine zone. It's always breezy, sometimes very much so, and this does require some care when pitching or striking. I'd imagine the tent body, fly, or footprint will blow very, very far if you let go inadvertently. Have the tent body and footprint ready in one hand, pole in the other, and a stake ready to hammer in, working from the windward side. It really won't be secure until you get the fly attached and guyed tautly. The footprint is a must! I've used folded raingear on top of the footprint to protect against abrasion from sharper rocks I couldn't avoid pitching over, because the footprint is very thin. The included stakes are excellent, withstanding being pounded into thin, rocky soil with a rock and holding securely in winds up to about 40mph. Torrential downpours didn't get a single drop into the tent, either through the fly or underneath it. You definitely want to orient the head or foot into the wind, though. If you don't or can't, or if the wind changes direction overnight, what I think is the tent's only weakness (IMO) will make itself known. I don't know about current versions, but on mine there's only one Velcro strap on the fly to secure it to the pole. If wind starts hitting the tent more broadside it'll push the pole on either side of that strap, loosening the guy lines on the lee side of the tent. The fly flapping in the wind may cause guy lines to come off the stakes. The fly really needs Velcro straps every 18 inches or so on all 3 pole legs. I will be sending my fly out for this mod. All in all I like the tent a lot, it's part of my 4lb tent/sleeping bag/air mattress summer hiking system.
