Worked perfectly
I used this to replace the shock cord on my MSR Hubba Hubba. I really love my tent and was happy to give it more life. Online videos were helpful in learning how to replace it. My tent is back out on trail.

exactly as expected. Worked great. The instructions for calculating length were confusing. Multiply needed length by 0.74 instead. The video says use length of old cord but old cord is usually stretched and no longer elastic - hence the need for replacement.

Thought my awesome tent was ruined. Found this product with instructions and repaired better than new in 30 minutes. Always check poles before going out and possibly carry extra cord. Happy camping.

Great cord; one kit did not include enough for the tent
Cord is great but they need to include more! I got halfway through my tent then needed to stop, order more, wait for it to arrive, then finish later.

It streches out, it comes back together - exactly how one would expect.
This shock cord did exactly what it was advertised to do. It was plenty of cord to re-do my entire Hubba Hubba NX tent with a bunch left over. 10/10, would buy again (in 10 years when this stuff wears out).

Excellent Service, Quality Workmanship, Reasonable Price
The cords in my tent poles lost their elasticity. I thought my tent was useless since the poles wouldn't stay together any longer. I sent a message to customer service hoping that they would provide some sort of solution. They sure did. They got back to me right away with a couple of options one of which was to send my poles in for repair. The MSR team provided excellent service, did a quality job fixing my poles, and it didn't cost me too much. I am very happy that my MSR tent is back in action!

D'oh! Instructions
Neither the how-to video nor the instructions from the FAQS AND DOCUMENTS section indicate how much shorter the cord should be than the pole (the guy in the video just says "stretch your shock cord and match the length with the new cord", and the instructions just duplicate the information on the front side of the package). Only after finishing the work, I found additional instructions on the inside of the package. It would be a good idea to place it on the front side of the package and in the instructions in the section FAQS AND DOCUMENTS.
By the way, it says "Measure pole and multiply length by 0.35". I think this means that the cord increases by 0.35, so the coefficient should be 0.74 (1 / 1.35).

Great service, advice, and instructions!
Service and advice were perfect. The instructions were super easy to follow. We needed the cord due to damage to the tent, poles, and cords in a massive windstorm. The folks here saved us a ton of money by telling us there was no need to replace everything as the repairs were easy. Many thanks.

New life into an old pole.
I've re-threaded a number of poles. This kit made it as easy as it could be. It comes with a plastic clamp to hold the end.
