Affectionately referred to as simply “the Shore” by locals and fans, this mountainous region features tracks for all experience levels, offering mountain bike riders a chance to hone and improve their skills as they enjoy the trails. The shortest measures just one-quarter km, while the longest extends for 8 km, giving you plenty of choices when it comes to planning your day.
The North Shore bike trails feature full-service bike shops within minutes of each of the 8 trail heads, so if you have any last minute tune-up or patching needs, you can attend to it before you’re out in the woods. If you’re planning a trip around mountain biking these trails, there are also nearby hotels that cater to the cycling community, as well as restaurants and markets to fuel up before the ride.
