When?
Next week marks a time to reflect upon your goals and dreams and start achieving them: April 11 marks the beginning of National Experience Week, a time dedicated to focusing on actually doing (or at least planning) all those things you’ve said you’ll do “someday.”
Why?

Created by a UK-based company called Into the Blue, National Experience Week was born in 1996 when the company started selling vouchers for aviation enthusiasts to attend the annual Air Fair. The response was huge, and the 60,000 available vouchers were snapped up quickly. Very soon it became apparent that people wanted more than to just observe the aerial acrobatics; they wanted to participate. The company then began to create aviation-based activities for people to enjoy. Soon, they were adding water-based and driving experiences like river rafting and rally driving. People could purchase vouchers for themselves, or give them as gifts to make someone else’s dreams a reality.
How?

The concept is to stop thinking or talking about doing amazing things, and start actually doing them. Taking that first step, or helping someone else find their way, can be remarkably fulfilling and create memories to last a lifetime. If you happen to be in the UK, you can contact Into the Blue directly and choose from hundreds of packages they have to offer, everything from gourmet cooking classes to “zorbing,” which is rolling down grassy hills inside a giant, inflatable hamster ball. If you can dream it, Into the Blue can do it.
So take that art class, or give Zumba a whirl. Always dreamed of finishing your MBA? Register for college. Whether you’ve always wanted to hike along the edge of the Grand Canyon, zipline through the Amazon rain forest, or test your resolve against the rush of whitewater rapids, it’s time to stop talking about it and make it happen between April 11-17 for National Experience Week!
