Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?NANCY C : As a woman (5"4" 130 lbs), I have a narrower gait than a man. I'm hoping the thinner design will result in less stress on my hips. My current, inherited, snowshoes are way too big for me (12.5" x 48"), so these should feel better anyway!

Not sure about these...

Not sure if these will work for me.... It seems my boots are too small for the space. There is a gap between the sides of my boot and the harness going around the toe, and the heel of my boot doesn't land on the heel spot. I can tighten the toe harness enough that I think the boot will stay in place, but there is still that gap. Not sure if that's because the snowshoe has to be able to fit wider boots than mine? Same with the heel issue. A boot for someone with a longer foot might fit right into that heel gripper spot. I'll revise this review when I've had a chance to try the snowshoes in the snow.
