I've used these binos to range find for me all the time. Whether it be on the range or a hunt, these things have made life a lot easier. The binos are great all around, though sometimes the LRF display would be too dim to see in bright conditions. This item is great for any level of experience.

I use the Fury 5000 AB Laser Range finding binoculars for load development, silhouette shooting and big game hunting. I can range and shoot within seconds and it easy to change from one rifle to the next. In silhouette shooting I see first round hits out to 800 yards and first round hits on elk. I did notice that the velocities caused my rounds to hit high so I increased the velocity by 70 feet per second and my rounds are hitting spot on. I did notice that in cold weather with significant use the battery runs down quickly. I carry an extra battery with me. Great product.

Sighted in at 200 and on target out to 600 in one afternoon. Later that week, double lunged nice 5x4 at 530 yards after getting my shooting solution from my new bino's!

These binos are super easy to set up (I used YouTube), crystal clear views with bright displays and very accurate yardage with corrections. Scored these at an excellent price and Vortex has the best warranty around if anything was to happen.

I just purchased a pair of these after shooting with a buddy who also had a pair. Used them on an elk hunt. Having the ability to not only rapidly range targets but to also have it calculate your DOPE in just a couple seconds is just awesome. It should be noted that while you use your phone to set up your binos via Bluetooth, you don't need to have your phone with you when using them. So, if you're hunting in the backcountry with limited or no cell service they will still work. Highly recommend!

I bought this to use hunting and long range precision shooting. The ballistic data appear to be on point. I like that you can enter and save lots of different combinations of guns and ammo. In terms of glass, I think it's better than the sig kilo 10k gen 1 and similar to Swarovski and the other brands. I also chose this over the others because of the Vortex warranty. Hard to beat. I think for half the price of the sig kilo 10k gen 2 it's an awesome product. The sig kilo 10k gen 2 returns ballistic data a little faster but like I said is double the price and you don't get as good of a warranty. All in all I would recommend to anyone who wants to combine a range finder and binoculars even if it's without the applied ballistics. For a couple hundred more I think it's a no brainer to get the applied ballistics though. Makes it so much easier to shoot at long range.

Phenomenal binos as a standalone item. I've started seeing more and more guys using these to replace a spotting scope when pared with a tripod. The range finder/ AB capability is incredible. Haven't had a ton of time to play with that feature but I'm impressed. Definitely could make quick work of ballistic calculations.

The furry is a great product! The glass is optically clear. I have put them up against a high dollar, well know brand, and there is no difference. Having a built in rangefinder would have been enough and they could have stopped there. But they but the ballistics app in and it's a game changer! I can dial dope quickly now and be on target will confidence! This product is great for just about every one!

I have looked through other binos and being that I have, according to the eye doc, perfect vision, it's almost impossible to tell the difference between others that cost twice the price of these without any of the sick features these come with. I just wish they would make multiple magnification because I would've loved these even more in 12x.

Having two eyes for ranging is better for me than a single optic. Having the controls at my fingertips is a plus. The feel is natural. The weight is just right. Not have anything negative to say about the laser, it was dead on every time. Clarity is awesome! I'm noticing any tint issues like some have described. Bought my pair about a month after the release. Not sure if that makes any difference. I'm still very unsure about how to use the BA. Wish to find some How to Do for dummies or something that I can understand. Mayne a step by step-by-step? The wife is super happy when using them (that's a plus). My son enjoys picking them up to glass things. We've been to so many shot shows where other products from different manufacturers have been offered. We jointly agreed this was well worth every dime we spent in comparison to other brands we've tried. We have nothing negative to say about this Vortex product. I'd like to learn more about the BA and want to apply that to my handloads. Great Product! Well worth the price! You will regret purchasing a different brand even if the other brands (reps) tell you differently. Like I said we've had our share of some overpriced glass and we keep coming back to the Fury. Thank you Vortex.making something that someone like us wanted the most. Oh, put away those single-optic range finders if you have one. This FURY is certainly the better way of ranging.

I selected these range finding binoculars after comparing them against similar competitors in the same price range. The Vortex Fury was noticeably better in low light than one of the other brands. The second brand I compared had similar clarity and brightness in low light conditions, but weighed significantly more than the Vortex Fury. When backpacking deep in the wilderness to hunt, weight matters ! The other two brands also could not compare to the applied ballistics (AB) offered with this Vortex model.

Over all very nice for the price the things I would change are I wish the ballistics calculator was more user friendly and I also wish it could sync to your phone or gps with coordinates of where you ranged an animal like the sig kilo10k does and they are also a bit heavy

I have this paired to my Kestrel and loading data is very slow. On average it's 5 seconds or more to obtain dope. This is an issue on the clock in a NRL Hunter match. The other obvious issue is that you should always double check your distance. There is a bug where it will often show data from a different range. Even if your distance is accurate, your dope will likely be wrong. I'm happy to work with Vortex on this one, if they ever read comments. I think there is a bug in your code, and I have an idea what changes need to be made. On to the good stuff: The glass is great, very clear and easy to use. The compact size makes it fit right in my standard harness and I can even be prone with no issues. Brightness is great and I have had no issues with PID. If you're looking for a RF Bino, these are a great option. At the price, I'm not concerned about the abuse I put on them. They are solid construction and I'm happy to have them for competition and hunting purposes. In consideration to my second point above, know your dope. If you know roughly what your dope should be, it will be obvious that your hold is not .5mil at 650m.

Taking the time to set up these up correct has made shooting 500+ yards very easy and accurate. After shooting at different temperatures and setting the point of impact correctly this will make taking long shots that much more accurate. I would recommend being set up to reload and an accurate chrono for the best results with this product.
