Just got my third pair. The first pair I bought in the mid 1980's. The first two lasted a decade. The second pair I just Shoe Gooed and they will have at least another winter and year left. apply a slow, dedicated, break in. Leave enough room for thick socks or a second insert. A better walking boot than a daily work boot, but that's just my opinion. For work I like a boot that cinches more snug at the top.This boot offers the lower shin some ease when hiking; especially on an upward slope.

The boots comfortably are awesome but the looks of the boots are ok. I wore to work couple of times washed off with water and the brown finish is now not the same.

These are painful to wear. I wore them twice will have to throw them away. The tongue presses into my ankle on the edges no matter how I tie them. I've owned several pairs of timberlands and this style is the only pair I've ever had a problem with

This was a gift for my son. He bought these boots over 10 years ago prior to going to Europe. They had to be broken in, but then he couldn't live without them. He wore them constantly. He wanted something like these and didn't realize they were still available. So when I found them and got them for his birthday, he was so happy. He loves them.

Good work boot but casual look, low tread design is the best feature for me, I appraise high value homes, measure the exterior then access the interior, boot does not hold dirt & can enter the homes in most cases w/boot on. For years I have bought the same boot & have treated w/a quality spray waterproof first off. The laces wear easily but Timberland has a free replacement program, also stand behind the boot, I returned a pair a few yrs. back w/a flaw, they gladly replaced. khakis, jeans or shorts, they look good w/all.
