TOO SMALL
Very comfortable and very effective at blocking out the cold and wet. However, it's not appropriately sized unless you're a miniature person. Please make an option for taller, adult sized people.

I bought these recent 2 zseats for my sister's. I have one also and so do five of my hiking partners
We all love them. One question we have (long discussions at coffee breaks)....which is the correct side up when sitting upon.....the silver or the colored? ??

Meditation pad

The size is perfect and I love how lightweight it is. It's kept my bum warm during lunch while snowshoeing and will be a staple to my hiking and backpacking packs this summer.

Best seat in the house
Incredibly comfortable when glassing for game animals from tough spots or eating lunch on the rocks from the top of a mountain. Ive used mine from deer hunts in -30C winters of November, to a seat on the ice while fishing for trout. Lightweight and invaluable for comfort in tough places!

Exactly what you need
It's the perfect size and thickness. I fold mine in half and it's more than adequate insulation and padding for pretty much any surface. Also, it weighs basically nothing. The option of side is simple but brilliant. A must have piece of kit.

Savior in cold rain
In cold rain, this is a game-changer! At 1 oz, you can have a warm, comfortable seat when you need to rest the most.
I've felt similar products from other brands and they aren't as comfortable. They use harder materials or something. And when you're tired and all you have are rough rocks to sit on, especially up above the tree line, the Z Seat is a welcome friend!

Great product!
This is really helpful when day hiking or backpacking. It makes finding a break spot easier, especially in the snow. Also, can be used to stand on when changing or putting on shoes.

Best piece of overpriced foam ever
Honestly, in a world of overpriced everything, I was happy to pay $$$ for a Z Seat, especially when demand far outweighed supply and I had to wait several weeks before they were available. I was giddy when I finally found one after so long not being able to do so, and now supplies seem to be barren again. This is a testament to how great the Z Seat is: small in dimension and even smaller in weight, this piece of foam travels in my pack whether I?m day hiking or overnighting. And not just for the butt, either?great pad for kneeling while prepping a meal on the camp stove. I even carry it with me when fly fishing off the beaten path. Sure beats a moist river bank or stream side rock to sit on while eating a piece of jerky and a Capri Sun.
