Great Product; need replacement foot and bar

Purchased 4 large ultralite cots earlier this year for my three grown sons and I for an Alaska adventure last month. Loved sleeping on the cots so much more than on the ground. Great product overall, but one black plastic foot and one gold bar broke and I need replacement parts. When will you have them in stock? Thanks.

Love my Ultralight

2023 is my 5th year using the Ultralight. I couldn't be happier with it. While the fabric shows some distress here and there, it continues to perform perfectly. I'm actually thinking of finding a back-up as I can't imagine my camping, bike, and kayak trips without it~

Still using it after 5 years but has lots of duct tape on it.

I bought this cot for a cross country bikecamping trip in 2018. I am still using it today, most recently on a 1500 bike trip from Oregon to Colorado. The legs and attachments have never broken or snapped but I am very careful with them. The fabric itself has ripped in many places (some by just pushing down with my hand) but I use duct tape to patch it up. I love it because I can't sleep on the ground without getting a back ache and this gives me a good sleep. It is not warm by itself and for the cold nights in Wyoming I also used a pad. Alternatively, I've stuffed clothing between the cot and the ground to reduce the cold air. When the fabric is more duct tape than mat, I'll probably buy a new one.

Great product

I slept on this cot for 10 consecutive nights backpacking at Philmont. It is tricky to set up and tear down at first, but I got pretty good at it by the end. I used the cot with a NeoAir mattress on top - I slept as well as if I were in my bed at home. I treated the cot very carefully, since it does seem fragile and I really needed it to last the whole trek. I had one cracked but functioning foot and one slightly bent but functioning pole by the end. Otherwise it held up nicely to what I consider harsh conditions. BTW, I weigh 190 lbs.

Three Broken Feet in Two Nights!

Three feet broke in first two nights test camping in my backyard on perfectly flat 4? of semi-compacted decomposed granite in cold temps. I read all instructions and watched video repeatedly. I?m 6-1?, 165 pounds, athletic. The feet broke while I was flat on my back and turning onto my sides! Therma Rest you have a major product failure issue! Improve the polymer formulation! Cascade Designs - you have a major customer service and management problem! Twelve weeks to respond? Stop using Covid-era excuses. I?d love to attach photos of the broken feet and a screen shot of the Thermarest CS auto-reply telling me ?we?re busy?.maybe 12 weeks??but the review feature doesn?t allow attachments. I wonder why?!

Cot itself was ok, I

Cot itself was ok, I immediately broke one leg laying on it, I broke another leg 2 days later. I had purchased two spares but didn't think I would break them so easily. I am not a big guy, 5'9 185 and this was disappointing.

Feet aren?t the best

First time I used it two of the feet broke. Such a disappointment. I bought the cot and thought it would save me having to keep buying air mattresses that end up with holes and deflate. Now I have a cot that doesn?t keep me off the ground.

A backpacking cot? Yup.

Nice cot system for backpacking. Yes, carrying a cot is now possible in my thru pack. Don't call me crazy. Or do. But I'll be the one sleeping off the ground nice and toasty. Paired nicely with my NeoAir Topo Luxe sleeping pad. Highly recommend.

I don't go camping without it

I've had mine for 5 years and it is not perfect but I never go camping without it. I keep thinking I'm going to break the poles or feet someday but the worst that has happened is the fabric tearing and I just use duct tape to patch it together. This cot has seen me across RAGBRAI for 2 years plus a 3700 mile coast to coast bike trip and just recently a 1500 Oregon to Colorado on the TransAm bike trip. It fits nicely inside my Ortlieb panniers. The only complaint is the reflective surface under the cot does nothing to keep me warm. I usually stuff clothing under the cot to get some insulation. If I do another cold trip again, I'll pair it with my thermarest pad (this last bike trip was through the Grand Tetons since Yellowstone was closed.)

Great sleeping cot, durability questionable

I love going on extended camping trips. I have a bad back so I wanted to upgrade from a pad to a cot. Bought this cot after several positive recommendations. I used it for 3 nights at a 4th of July party and loved it. Packed it up and planned on using it on a 9 day backcountry trip. Day 2 of the back country trip a foot broke. Day 3 another foot broke, Day 5 a third foot broke. I slept amazingly on this thing and it is very light. I was able to maneuver foot/pole placement to make it work for the whole trip despite broken parts. Unfortunately I don't think breaking 3 of 12 feet on a single trip is acceptable. I'm 190, I sleep flat on my back (due to back surgery) and took a lot of care getting into and out of the cot to not stress any single point. Rated 3/5 because it is nice, but it shouldn't break that easily.

Fabric Ripped

I totally enjoy sleeping on the UltraLite Cot (R). Yesterday was the 8th time that took it camping. However, the fabric ripped when I accidentally fell down with my knee hitting the point where the fabric is next to the foot (stress point). Would I be able to purchase the fabric only? Thank you!

Sidebar snapped

I bought this cot because it was highly recommended by a friend. With under a dozen uses my sidebar cracked and broke when I was sleeping in it. I am under 175 pounds. Very disappointed as I was really enjoying not sleeping on the ground and not getting cold or wet.

I love it

I used a closed cell pad for two decades. I now have 20 nights on the ultra lite cot and it is now my standard. I was worried because I had read reports about breaking. I look for a level surface and always put my weight in the center of the cot getting up and down. So far I have zero issues. I have put holes in three inflatable pads, so I had given up on comfort till this. 5?10? 170 lbs. I believe the cot is as easy as an inflatable. In the morning I am packed up before the inflatable campers, though it takes just about the same tome to put up. I am right at the weight limit recommended for the light weight assembly. Ie fewer poles. And used it on a few weekends now with success. It is a little noisy, but not more so than my last two inflatables.
