Great little kayak-a little low in the water with 2 people. For the cost?a great deal for a durable tandem kayak.

This is a great boat for class I-III river rafting. I don't usually take a second person in it but there is plenty of room. I like this kind of seats vs. the cloth seat with a back. This seat provides stability in the boat. It would be nice to have foot pegs but you can stick your feet in the crack of the pontoons or under the seat in front. It would also be nice to have more D rings for strapping things down. I'm going to add some. The video instructions do not show how to install the seats so I had to find out from another experienced rafter that you strap them through the self baling holes. I don't really like doing that. Its a tight squeeze for the hands unless you lift up the bottom. I'm going to add D rings for this also. For the price though, this is a sturdy boat. Not too bouncy and doesn't oversteer.

We looked all over the country for this kayak which was on back order, and Leisure pro has it. Shipped quickly, we are very happy with our experience!

The craftsmanship is superb. The design is very well thought through. The boat won't take in water because its interior is essentially a communicating vessel with the body of water outside. The buoyancy is due to the inflatable components, not due to the hull per se. So even larger waves won't be a problem. Whatever water gets in overboard, will immediately get back out through the openings in the bottom. That said, I have not taken this kayak to any whitewater yet, only to lakes. But I rented similar craft to do easy class II-III rapids in western North Carolina near Tennessee border, so I know what to expect. Also the inflatable backrests are very sturdy and convenient. The draught of the kayak is shallow, so it is easy to paddle (picks up speed rapidly) and easy to maneuver. I read reviews (maybe, on other sites) complaining that it is very difficult to keep this boat on a straight course. This is absolutely not true. Of course, you need to know what you are doing with your paddle, especially at the stern (this takes training and practice), but if you do, this kayak is a true joy to ride. I definitely recommend it.

Great value for a whitewater IK. Super responsive and can take a beating. I bought the tandem to float solo with gear or turn someone on to whitewater on a day trip.

Love this boat! It’s compact and light when deflated, and absolutely rips on the river. I’ve manned it solo, with my dog, with another human, and with 2 humans and 2 dogs. Don’t forget the cooler’s always on board too! Couldn’t be happier with it.

This is a great budget inflatable whitewater kayak! I took it out for its maiden voyage and did a self sufficient trip over 6 days through Desolation and Gray Canyon. 84 miles with lots of class II and III it performed flawlessly. It was high water started at 17,500 CFS got out at 13,000, June 8th through 14. I would recommend this product to anybody looking for a vessel in this price range.

Experience the thrill of water sports like never before with the NRS Star Outlaw II Inflatable Kayak. Perfect for commercial outfitters, camps, and rental programs, this tandem inflatable kayak caters to both first-time paddlers and seasoned water adventurers. Thanks to the continuous curve tubes and extra kick, coupled with a high-pressure drop-stitch floor, the Outlaw II masterfully balances performance and stability.
The drop-stitch PVC floor insert inflates to a solid 8-10 psi, giving paddlers a stable and comfortable position above the water. With tens of thousands of fine threads, we achieve a flat surface that inflates to rock-hard rigidity, similar to a hard-shell kayak, without sacrificing the convenience of easy transport and storage that comes with inflatables.
The Outlaw II is built to last, using a meticulous process of joining two pieces of polyester woven support fabric with thousands of polyester thread lengths. A complex arrangement of up to 400 needle heads is used to create a super-strong construction that can withstand pressures of up to 20 psi. It's no wonder that our inflatables redefine the boundaries of the boating world with innovation at its core.
Constructed with advanced-formula PVC material and cutting-edge seam welding technology, our inflatable kayaks boast superior abrasion resistance, long lifespan, and unmatched air retention. The kayak features two inflatable thwart seats for comfortable backrests and a quick setup. The bow and stern handles allow for easy transport, while top-quality Leafield C7 valves ensure smooth inflation and deflation.
Measuring 12' 2" x 38" and weighing only 41 lbs when empty, the Outlaw II is easy to carry to and from the water. It features a 5-chamber safety design, 6 D-ring lashing points, and a self-bailing design. The NRS Star Outlaw II Inflatable Kayak comes with a repair kit and owner's manual, ready for your next aquatic adventure.
