Sorel Tivoli IV Tall Winter Boots for Women

Seemed really cheap compared to other Sorels. I have owned Sorel boots since 1978, and I expected the same quality. You can't tell from the pic that it's nothing like the Joan of Arctic or the Caribou. Tivoli had a bad fit, no cushion in the footbed, no felt liner, zero arch support. I could tell right out of the box it was not acceptable, and no way it would ward off deep snow. Fortunately Sunny Sports was happy to refund my money.

I wear a size 8. The 8 in the boot was way too small- reordered a 9 which was also too small. Sizing was VERY inaccurate.

Purchased my normal boot size, a size 7.5 but these run small. I would advise to size up a half size for wide feet even a whole size if you plan to wear thicker socks with it. Other than that I love these boots, my feet stayed warm and dry in the snow and slush.

Yes, the sizing is off and they are too small. It would be great for Sorel to specify this primarily in advance in addition to customers reading it in the reviews then deal with the return process several time to simply get the accurate size. Despite the sizing, I love these so much, they keep me warm in super cold New England winters. No problem with the quality. Love love love.

In Frye boots and Saucony running shoes, I am a 7.5. I would not say I have very wide feet, but I do have bunions. A size 8.5 is just right without extra thick socks. They are very comfortable (while walking dogs), have a lot of grip when the pavement is wet, and super warm during cold weather. Strongly recommend!

These boots just arrived and I look forward to testing them out in the coming snow storm. Like other reviewers have mentioned, they run small! I typically wear a 8.5 and ordered a 9.5 - even that is a little snug. I think a size 10 would have allowed me to double up on socks or wear very thick socks. They are not big and clunky either or too heavy.

Loved the boots and they were exactly as pictured. I gave them a 4 because they ran small and I had to return them. Order one size up! Returning my boots was easy, which I appreciate.

Haven?t worn these boots out in the cold & snow yet. Tried them on & they are very comfortable & look nice. After reading other reviews I ordered a full size up and glad I did. They run small & narrow so my regular size 6.5 would never have fit.

I read all of the reviews on these boots and ended up ordering a 1/2 size larger than my normal shoe size based on the feedback. They fit perfectly and there is enough room to wear thick winter socks. Overall, they are very comfortable and look great.

I wear an 8-8.5 so I got a 9 they run extremely small need a wider boot. Otherwise, I love the boot.

As others have said size up. I usually wear a 7.5, and the 8.5 works great even with a thicker sock. Love that theyre lace up as they work great for my wide calves! The grip/tread are awesome too. Been walking outside in MN winter many times so far and no issues.

I normally wear a size 6.5 and I sized up to a 7 based on the recommendation but they were SO small, felt like a size 6. So unfortunately, I need to exchange them for a larger size. Aside from that, the boot is amazing and the quality is top notch. I would recommend, however, size up at least one whole size.

I love my Tivoli IV boots. They are really well made and are comfortable, but they run small. I wear a size 9 in street shoes, but I wear a size 10 in hiking boots and trail running shoes because I wear a mid-weight sock. I have to order an 11 in Sorel because they run really short. Side by side my size 10 hiking boots and trail running shoes are 1" longer than my size 11 Sorel Tivoli's.

I'm usually a size 9.5. based on reviews I ordered a 10.5 but honestly could have ordered 11. My toes don't rub th edge though so no need to return. I see how some people find the boot too narrow. My feet are narrow and these fit almost too narrow for me. The boot is warm and has better structure than the Joan of Arc. Sorels typically stretch over time so I think these will fit perfectly after breaking them in.

What more can you ask for in a boot? I'm typically a 9.5, but decided to go up half a size due to the reviews and ordered a 10, which is perfect fit for me. However, I wear very thin socks. If you like to wear thicker socks, I'd recommend sizing up one full size.

I?m normally an 8. I first ordered an 8.5 as advised, but my toes were right up on the edge and squished. I returned those and got a 9. Much better, but need to wear thick socks! Lightweight, warm, and comfy.

I purchased these boots in curry and they are absolutely gorgeous! I was looking for a sleek snow boots and these fit the bill. I'm so glad I listened to the other reviews to size up which I did. I am a true size 6 and purchased 6.5 and they fit perfectly!

I bought these Christmas 2020. Very warm. I don't feel like these are bulky as some tall boots can be. Yes - these run small/narrow. I?m an 8. In some Sorel boots I go 8.5. In this boot, I needed a 9 so that I could wear a decent sock and they fit great. Not sloppy at all.

So I saw these boots in a women one day and took a sneaky pic! I raced home and found them on the website and much to my surprise they were on sale! I normally wear a size 10........but they were sold out so I ordered a 10.5 and thought ?I will just wear thick socks!? In my haste to purchase these gorgeous boots I didn?t read the reviews about them running small. I have literally had anxiety all week waiting for them because there are no large sizes left on the website......so no exchange possible! They arrived today and are perfect! I have so many Sorel boots but these are definitely my favorite! Very happy with my purchase

They are attractive and make my larger feet look small. The tread on the bottom is great for snow and ice. Definitely get a half size up.

Withstood the snow and water. Toes got cold a bit after a couple of hours outdoors, but maybe thicker socks are needed. Description said size runs smaller so ordered half size up ? a bit loose on the ankles but without trying on my true size, hard to tell if true size wouldve been smaller. Wore ski socks with it and fit was fine. I have wide feet so true size might be too snug for me. The half size bigger was perfect for me width wise. Quality lived up to the Sorel brand.

I purchased these last winter. Just pulled them out again this season. They run small and are narrow. The back piece that runs up is very uncomfortable. It digs into the back of my leg no matter how I adjust it. They are beautiful and warm but I would not purchase again for the way the back piece feels.
