I prefer the previous Lennox Lace boot: all metal lacing brackets, a loop on the back to pull on, metal nail heads around top on sole but these are an adequate replacement . Still very comfortable and durable. A little thinner profile which is good because it make feet look smaller without being tighter. I wore my last pair out so happy to have a fresh pair.

Threw these in my suitcase last minute as I had just learned of a high chance of rain during my trip to Dallas. I'm happy to report that although my legs got soaked from the driving rain my feet stayed completely dry and comfortable. Furthermore, these boots still look like I just took them out of the box. Although I did not traipse through mud I did wear them all day on a college campus and to a football game with a lot of grimy puddles.

If you are going on a trip and the weather isn't going to be summery and amazing, these are your boots. With them I've been able to take a trip with no checked luggage, because these boots do the trick for EVERYTHING. 2 hour Muddy Alpine hike? No problem! Dinner at a nice restaurant? No problem! They dress up great with a nice pair of pants. Everything in between, including tons of walking and all kinds of weather? No problem! These boots are really comfortable, surprisingly lightweight, actually waterproof, and all around amazing. A friend bought them before a trip to Scotland and is also extremely happy with her purchase. I've taken mine to Switzerland and an epic East Coast college tour trip and been super happy.

These boots are very comfortable! They are difficult to put on as they are getting broken in, but it's easier after a few wears. I am noticing some scuffs and rub marks already, but that's just a part of the look. The soles are heavy/sturdy and they are insulated a bit more than I was expecting. They are great for everyday wear that requires a bit of walking outside in the snow or rain. However, when the snow melts, these will be going in the closet until next season.

I love these boots, but they are ridiculously difficult to get into - even with a shoe tree I struggle to the point of almost giving up, and they don't get easier with time.

I got these for a gift in December and had to return to to size up half a size from all my other Sorel boots. I did wear them on a trip to Alaska in January and day to day use in South Dakota where I work indoor. They are very comfortable and broke in quickly. I am disappointed in how scuffed up they are already - especially because I cannot find care instructions on their listing. The pull tab is tiny and mostly ineffective in helping to get the boot on. Not up to my other Sorel boot standards.

I bought these boots in advance of a trip to Europe knowing my other Sorels fit well and are comfortable for a lot of walking. These boots, like my other Sorels, didn't disappoint. Despite my wide foot and high instep, I didn't feel that the boots were difficult to pull on as other reviewers have mentioned. To that point, I think it is only a bit more time consuming to loosen the laces when putting the boot on or taking it off. The boots are comfortable and had a brief braking in period. I had no issues with them during mild hikes, on snow and ice, or on cobblestone walkways. I've received a lot of compliments and personally love the style of the boot. Other reviewers noted that the boots scuff after some wear, but this is is to be expected of the texture of the leather. I personally don't think the scuffs impact the overall appearance of the boot.

Wow. These are the most difficult boots to put on and wear that I've ever had. They look great, but I don't know if I can keep them because they were so tight around the instep that I can barely stand to wear them. Only giving them 3 stars because they're cute.

I bought these boots in October and have only worn them a dozen or so times around town and to work. The fit is great but they desperately need a pull tab to help get them on. I have to yank them on and off. I'm also disappointed with how scuffed the boots have gotten after only a dozen wears. I don't do anything crazy, but still have scuffs all over. The leather quality seems lacking. I also noticed that the heel is separating already too, so that's frustrating. I love Sorel products and the Lennox line, I have the Chelsea style in a half size larger than I normally wear and bought these in a 9 also, great for thick or thin socks. But for $160, I wouldn't buy these boots again because the quality doesn't seem to be what It should.

So comfy! Be sure to size up half a size. I was nervous because I always wear 8 in Sorels, but it suggested 8.5 and they are perfect. 8 would have been too small.
