Sized up half a size and they fit perfectly. Ankle doesn't rub and are definitely wide enough.

I'm so happy with these sneaker boots! I bought them for the winter and ended up wearing them for work shoes. I had just gotten a free pair of work shoes and within weeks I decided to wear my sorels for work. They have also become my daily shoe. I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes because I have flat feet. Arches are my nemesis, however these support my arches perfectly. They may be a little narrow in the toe box for some. I normally wear an 8 1/2 and got them in the same size. They were a little snug in the fore foot, yet quickly loosened up. I got them in black and have gotten lots of compliments.

I love these winter sneaker booties. They are very warm and comfortable. I am a size 7 in pretty much all shoes and I bought these in a size 7. While they are snug, they aren't uncomfortably snug at all. Fit like a glove with normal socks. I would not be able to wear thick winter socks with them, but they are so warm I don't know why I would ever want to. The only comment about style - I disliked the orange laces alot. So I purchased some beige ones on another site and they look much nicer.

Very warm and definitely waterproof but not true to size. I've purchased a lot of sorel shoes and boots and this was the first pair that didn't fit even though I ordered my usual size. All of my fall/winter shoes and boots are Sorel. I think I own about 12 pair. If I were to purchase these again I'd go up a half size.

The shoe is awesome and the exact style I wanted but was way too wide on my feet and I almost never have this problem. I couldn't adjust the laces tight enough to eliminate the folding and bending of the upper shoe material on the sides of the laces. I own many pairs of Sorels and this is the first time this has happened. Very sad because these looked perfect, length was great.

Liked the concept of a sneaker like a boot. Ordered my normal size on line and it was too small. Not sure whether I need 1/2 or 1 size bigger. Had to return them.

I bought the black pair (Cinder) and honestly....this is the first time I've ever had to break in anything from Sorel. After about a week during flights and cold trails and creeks, they were the most comfortable trail trekking boot in my adventures also in digging fossils and wandering woods. They are waterproof, warm, dry and true to size as I always size 1/2 up for thick socks, (11) I love this boot so much that I ordered another pair in Bloodstone which is a dark red. Quality is very good, I might add. Highly recommended.

I purchased these shoes for cold winters in the Alps. I was looking for something that would be comfortable while walking long for long periods, waterproof, warm, and cute. These shoes fit the bill in every category. I purchased the tan pair and I get a lot of compliments on them. However, I took the advice to size up a half size and it turns out that I did not need to. I wish I'd have purchased my normal size. I'd return them, but needed them right away, so I just wear my thickest socks and they still work. I am considering purchasing a second pair in a different color, as I think these will last me a long time.

Got these boots as a gift in my regular size of 9. They were too small, so I had to return them and let the gift giver know I was returning them (awkward, and would be great if you guys offering direct exchanges). Ordered 9.5's and one of the boots had a weird protrusion in the inside of the shoe. Overall it seems the quality of Sorel products has declined over the years. The two shoes from the same pair did not feel the same on my feet. Sent them back. Super disappointed as I love the look of these boots. The quality is just not what it used to be.

My husband bought these for me for Christmas! I love them but they are way too small. He did size up a half size but I probable need 1 or 1.5 sizes bigger to be comfortable. I've wore them to try to break them in but they are way too tight and I can't return them for being worn.

100% recommend these boots! Love the style of these boots. They feel like a super comfortable running shoe, but also give the utility of a waterproof boot. I've worn them for hours on wet, icy, and snowy days and these boots have delivered on traction and warmth. I'm also glad I didn't listen to reviews about sizing up. I bought my true size and they fit perfect!

I've never had a shoe this comfortable in my life. These things are more comfortable than slippers - it's like walking on air. And so so soft and cozy warm out in the cold. I actually wore them on a long walk with the dogs today in 30 degree weather. And my feet were the only warm and super comfy part of my body! I just placed my 2nd order, this time in black. LOVE these boots!!

They defined run small! I ordered a 1/2 size up, but almost wonder if I need a full size up. They look cute, but the tongue on one of my boots really digs into the top of my foot, therefor I don't wear them as often as I hoped.

These shoes are freaking awesome. I went up a whole size (from 7.5 to 8.5). I have had SO many compliments and they are very comfortable. I have a high arch, so they are perfect for me. Not sure if they are for someone who is more flat foot, but I wouldn't know. Literally the coolest shoes I own, and I own a lot of shoes. Love these! Form the look, quality and comfortability. Great purchase!

I got these boots for my fiance, and she loves them. They are sturdy and easy to put on, but also look great with yoga pants or jeans. Also, the heel is nice and adds about an inch and half to her height which she loves.

Bought 2 pairs of these boots 1 size 8 & 1 size 8.5. Have very narrow feet. My 3 pairs of Kinetic Conquest l size 8's. this boot does run small. Size up at least a Half size! Love the Burgundy Color!
