Hillsound has a size chart on their website. However it's not exact. I wear men's boot size 11 and according to the chart, that should mean a Large trail crampon. I received a medium by mistake, but tried it on anyway, and it fit perfectly. These crampons are terrific and Sunny Sports had the best price. I'm very happy with them.GORDON R : Get one size larger than what your size is . If you are a medium, get a large size. I purchased a medium and works great on my size 9 1/2 leather boots. For my size 10 snow Paks I use a large.
Love these. Use them for ice fishing and walking. Much better than Yaktrax for traction on ice or icy snow. Dont wear inside, on wood or tile. Very aggressive.LISA C : A good fit is extremely important. They must be tight to you boots or they will come off in snow. The manufacturer has shoe size estimates but I find the run large and boots vary depending on manufacturer. The only way to really know what size to get is to bring your boots to a store and try them on. It's worth it to get the right ones.MICHAEL C : Used on "bunny boots and heavy winter boots, so you need to order bigger size to fit over outdoor winter boots. Great on ice roads.

In general, the crampons tend to be on the small size.TANIA N : I have Scarpa's Mt. Blanc mountaineering boots and yes, I "could" fit the trail crampon's over them, but I wouldn't (and haven't) use(d) them on any true technical mountaineering routes. I use the hillsound trail crampons on fall/winter hikes (when not a ton of snow/ice) with gtx hiking boots where I might run into dicey patches here and there. My mountaineering trips, I'm in the Scarpa's & Grivel G 12 Crampons. JMO.MASAHIKO H : Yes. NICHOLAS S : I have an XL set, and they fit perfectly on my salewa alp trainer mid gtx (size 12). So if your shoe size is at the bottom of the suggested range, you should be fine. If your shoes size is at the top of the suggested range, I'd go a size up.GORDON R : you may probably need a larger size Hillsound Trail Crampon to fit around a full size mountaineering boot., whatever size that may be dependent on your mountaineering boot size
