My old dream came true: BearVault BV450
I think, it's the smallest bear canister on the market, It's 8.25x8.25 inches big and weights 940 gramms (little more then 2 lb). It's a trick to open it, I still remember how difficult it was one camping night, when my fingers were very cold). The canister will be enough for 1 or 2 camping nights for a family may be 2-3 people, of course if you are a minimalist enough to get rid of original packaging and air, (I use only dehydrated food).
Sturdy and Great design
The hard plastic material is very sturdy and has a slippery coating on it. Definitely seems bear resistant. It does weigh a decent amount, but worth the buy, especially when I purchased it at a sale price. Has room to fit plenty of food for at least 2-4 days for a single person.
