I mountain bike with the focus on pedaling, not as much on downhill. I had previously been using a typical mountain bike helmet with a visor, and compared to that this has much better ventilation. The white and grey is a very clean look and seems to help with reflecting sunlight on bright, hot days. It has slightly less protection for the back of the head compared to a mountain bike helmet, but I don't feel any less protected on the trail.

I had a bike crash , and had a fractured hip, fractured scapula, collapsed lung and broiken ribs . I was wearing the this smith helmet , and has no head injuries . Best thing i have invested in . thank you !!

Bought this for gravel riding and love it. Great fit exactly as measured. Snug on my head and chin but not overly tight and can adjust. Very high quality build!

The helmet is great. But like anything you wear, the fit is what counts. In my case, the front pushes my safety glasses down and out of my nose. My previous helmet did not have this problem. Again, I do not think it is a problem with the helmet itself, but you may want to consider visiting your Local Bike Shop (LBS) to buy a helmet you can try on with your glasses, etc.

The fit is great, but the strap alignment is not very good. The strap keeps loosening during rides. The look is okay but seems the helmet sits pretty high on my head. I don't really like the secondary color and wish it were all black. The quality of the helmet part is excellent though as previously mentioned the strap location and use is average to poor.

The helmet is nice, although I liked the black one better hd to go with white for more road noticeability. The shipping though... 20$ on top of the sale price was too much. I paid in taxes and shipping more than I can buy. entire helmet elsewhere. Not happy about it. Shipping could be free, it's a 100$+ helmet after all.

For the the most part the helmet is good the fit is good the quality is great. Except for the chin strap it constantly loosen up on it's own. That part is too bad because other than that it's a fine helmet.
