They look identical and I assume the only difference is the amount of insulation.DIANA K : Yes, you definitely can especially since they are the same style, being "Big Timber Pro".
Alana L : If you are wanting to zip together do you need a left and right zip?DIANA K : No, You can purchase two of the same bag, they must be the same size. You then flip one of the bags upside down and you can zip them up together to create a double bag.

Roomy bag

Roomy, stayed very warm on 38F night. Foot box is nice, doesn't bind feet. Flannel is little stiff but that should change with use. Heavy bag.

Decent bag for the price, but, not nearly what they used to be.

It's a decent bag for the price. The new bags are generously long and do feel nice. But, I bought two and ended up returning them because, unfortunately, they ain't what they used to be. Our family has had 5 Slumberjack Big Timber bags for 10-20 years. I have had two in a row and each lasted 10 years. We loved these older model bags. But, these newer bags have a lighter synthetic cover instead of the sturdy cotton duck canvas of the old bags. Overall, they feel thinner and not as warm and cozy. The new synthetics may be more durable, however. Also, these bags have extra space for your feet. Although, you need to be aware that that limits which way the bag faces unless you want the extra foot space facing down. This is also an issue when zipping two bags together as one footwell will always be facing up and the other down.
