High Side 2

I've camped once in the tent and like it. The color coding on the poles and tent make it easy to set up. I like having vestibules on both sides--the ventilation is great and there's plenty of storage room. If you're tall, however, this may not be the tent for you. at 5' 4", I can sit up easily at the tall end and have enough space to change clothes but someone much taller would probably be hitting the ceiling.

Great Backpacking Tent

I?ve only used this tent for a couple weekend trips. Haven?t really had a chance to put it to the test. So far everything seems really high quality. More than enough space for 2 people. Looking forward to taking it on a thru hike.

Took the tent out for the first time with about a week of motorcycle camping in Oregon. Easy to pitch, really spacious for one plus lots of gear, great vestibule space. Saw temps from the high teens to blazing sun, frost, rain, high winds, and really it held up great. No condensation, no dust blowing in and no need make adjustments with the winds. Really happy with the way it performed and how it packs down. This replaced my previous SD tent which lasted almost a decade and saw well over a hundred nights of use. I use a tent for shelter when when sleeping vs hanging out in and this design is really working great for me. Thanks

Happy with it!

Purchased this tent to replace a 14 year old SD Lightning model. This recently went with me on a 5 day bikepacking trip and worked well each night. Set up is easy and I like the options with the fly/vestibules.

The High Side 2's pre-bent poles and distinct build provide a maximum amount of space and a minimum amount of weight. 12" pole sections help with efficient packing, and once set up, just extend the awning and you'll be living large.
