Love the tent. Camped in twice already large enough for two twin air mattresses for the grandkids. Like the awning and the open screen front. I do have to close around 2 in AM because it gets cold here at night.

I bought my Tabernash 6 about 10 months ago and am very happy with it. I set it up by myself with no problem. At 10x10 I have plenty of room for all my gear, a table and a large cot. Guy lines are bright yellow for high visibility. Zippers work great and the door is nice and large. The e-port allows me to run a hd extension cord into the tent a hook up a power strip for all my electronics. The fly has a convenient opening in the rear with a support that holds it open without letting rain in. I have been in numerous summer storms with it and have had no problems. Always stayed dry. I am very happy with this tent and would buy it again in a second. I see others saying the fly is loose. It attaches at the stakes with adjustable straps. It just has to be adjusted. The fly is higher in the rear for better ventilation. Once you set it up right the first time you will not have any concerns. I give it 5 stars and highly recommend it.

We received a test on our first outing with our new tent with 25 mph wind, drizzle and near freezing temps. The set up was somewhat difficult with two people due to the high profile of this tent (the high profile is one reason we chose this model due to our advanced age and our preference for a tent we could stand up in). However once up and everything staked out all was good. We awoke dry and comfy. With the conditions I feel a less well made tent would not have given us the same results. Highly recommend.

The tent is easy to put up and take down, wish it had a side window beside that from main entrance, aside from that very please with it, pretty basic, has storage compartments, center ceiling net.

The rain-fly is not taught, it requires stakes to hold it out, if the stakes come undone through frequent use or children bumping them, the rain fly collapses. The fly also seems to sag and doesn't seem to be evenly distributed around the tent. It's not tight and I wouldn't trust it during a big storm.

My wife just recently took this tent on a long weekend with the girls. It rained most days and they all stayed dry. Pretty easy to set up with the exception of the vestibule pole which is s bit awkward but it works.

I have a generally positive opinion about Sierra Designs and at face value it is a unique take on a budget family tent. I set it up in the yard and it already has a hole in one of the pole sleeves. Putting the brow pole into the rainfly is also way more difficult than it should be. Overall this feels like a tent that will last for a year or two and then I'll have to replace it. I'll probably break down and just buy a more premium one at that point. Of course this is all preliminary, fingers crossed I'm wrong - hence the three stars and not less.
