Works well in the wind, rain, snow, and just on cold days. The straps for the back legs I think are crucial to its success and will always look for jackets that include this feature from now on. Our girl Mocha is a 3 year old Olde English Bulldog who she weighs 60 pounds, and this is the perfect length and width for her. Snug but not too tight, long but not in the way. Great for our pup to move around in but stay warm.

We really love the Vert -and Bella has no problem putting it on and wearing it. And it is a very sporty look! Some comments: *Bella is 27" at her chest, so right on the edge of S and M. We strarted with M, and it was too long. Small fits perfectly, and Ruffwear was very easy with the exchange. *I like the side clasp, but my wife finds it a bit hard to find and connect. *with the back loops on, it's hard for her to get a clear ***.... But we love it!

I also have the Powder Hound jacket, this one seems better and is easier to put on. The Powder Hound jacket rubs on my dog's legs at the front- not great for a short haired dog. This one doesn't seem to rub anywhere and is insulated enough to keep him warm in the snow but also light enough where he is free to move around.

This jacket fits my 60 lb Golden perfectly and I love that it has a slot for the harness leash! Lightweight, warm, stylish and made with snap fasteners instead of Velcro make this coat perfect for a long haired dog. We have size Large which fits great and is long enough to cover her back entirely!

Ruffwear makes the best dog gear around. I recommend them to all of my clients. I have this jacket for my dog for wet, or snowy trail walks. He stays toasty and comfortable the whole time we?re out in the woods and the drive back. Thank you!

We love the jacket. The fit is fantastic (S for my 45 pound heeler/Aussie/border collie mix). My only ding is that my dog hates the leg straps, and I wish there was a little button to pin them back under the jacket instead of let them flop around or snag. Other than that my dog loves wearing it and it keeps her dry and warm.

Very good. I ended up cutting off the straps for the back legs because my dog hated them, but otherwise the jacket is awesome. Fits snug but not tight and works well with the ruffwear harness.

Our girl Doberman (83-lbs) absolutely loves this jacket, and it fits her better than any jacket she?s ever worn (size L). The addition of the leg loops for her back legs (and the split for her tail) make a dramatic difference in the way the coat fits overall, especially when she?s running at full speed. Plus, it?s stylish! The Vert is the best of all the Ruffwear coats she?s ever had.

The jacket fits well on my Corgi-Sheltie mix and seems to add a bit of extra warmth while she's playing in the snow. It's a bit of a wrestling match to put it on my squirming pooch, but she doesn't seem to mind it once we're outside.

i really wanted to love this item. Meg falls at the top of a Small and the bottom of a Med. Small was just to small in the chest area and Meg didnt like it. The Med was way to big. Very sad about this cause I wanted a water proof jacket to help keep her warm and dry if we get caught out in the snow showers or rain.

The jacket is what I have been waiting for Ruffwear to produce for 10 years. Now if they will only go back to their color palate roots a bit and create jackets like the Lumenglow? High-Vis Dog Jacket in Granite Gray. This jacket is great, but my dog looks like a pumpkin. Not the look we hoped for against deep snow.

We have a male pooch who doesn?t lift his leg when he pees. We were looking for a coat that he wouldn?t *** directly into and the very works perfect! It keeps him warm and?dry, which is nice :)

Great jacket! Adjustments are easy and the fit and the ability to stay in place and not rotate on the body is the best I have found. Love it! My 95 lb. Walker Coonhound is happy in the snow and cold.

Bought this for our 8yo rescue with a deep chest~54lbs. 32? girth, 22? length. She was in between sizes, took advice from website to size down and couldn?t be happier. Fits perfectly with room to tighten/loosen straps or layer. So easy to get on/off. Full coverage. The legs straps are awesome, super stretchy, not too tight, and she can relieve herself without issue. Highly recommend!

My Dog loves the Vert Jacket: PROS: Our senior dog can get into it easily- no holes to try to put his feet though. It is waterproof and withstands showers well. If it?s a torrential downpour I would probably add the Sunshower jacket on top or stay inside. He is now willing to walk for a longer time because the Vert keeps him toasty. So it's warm and easily goes over his flagline harness. Even though it makes our dog look like a tropical turtle he thinks he looks stunning. The fabric on the inside does not collect fur. This is a great jacket for cold snowy and rainy days. CONS: The buckles on the side make it hard for him to sleep in when we are camping. He is not a fan of leg loops. I wish Ruffwear would make a fleece sweater that my senior dog could get into easily and that would work under this so when we camp he has a nice warm fleece (no leg hole battle) to sleep in.

My experience was great. Originally ordered too large (did not use the right measuring tool). I was given a return authorization right away. Meanwhile I ordered one size smaller. Fits perfect and easy to put on. Once they received my return, my credit card was credited for it. Customer service was very good

This is an incredibly good jacket. The details are well thought out for an active dog. Materials are durable and the sizing guide is right on. I removed the leg loops as the jacket stays put and there is no need for things to catch on branches. My dog is a working dog and needs to escape clothing should she become caught. I would give it 5 stars except for needing one improvement. The buckles are deep in the covering pocket making it occasionally frustrating to access it. Making the top covering shorter at the buckle pocket would allow for easier access. Otherwise both my dog and I are happy with this purchase.

I have two very active Weimaraners that walk/run with me daily year round. These jackets stay put even w/o using the back leg elastics. The darts in the back curve perfectly around their hind end and allow for their docked tails. Easy to put on and remove. The dogs are noticeably warm where the jackets were when I take them off. Perfect!

This is by far the best rain coat or any coat that our lab has ever owned. It?s super easy and quick to put on. There is no Velcro or fleece that labs fur clings to which is awesome. The fit is perfect. He measured between a medium and a large so we bought the large. There is no sliding around with the Vert while he is walking or playing. It?s a win when our dog is happy and dry and we all love it!

We love this jacket for our dog. It super easy to get on and pull the harness loop through before a walk. It keeps our dog dry, and as the temperature drops we'll use it on colder days too since it feels like it'll be a good, warm layer!
