Fits perfectly and she does not even notice it when it is on and loaded. It is snug up to the body so nothing to flop around. Adjusting the fit of the harness to her size was simple (when she was not bouncing around!)

My pup and I are new to the dog/human adventures. I wanted a backpack that would allow my dog freedom of movement while being part of packing her water, doggie bags, and snacks. This pack has met those goals and has been easy for my dog to get use to carrying it.

We love this pack ? we?ve been using it for about 6 months now as a daily service dog pack, and so far it shows no signs of wear. We sewed some Velcro onto it for patches. A puppy also wore it on a hike once, with the patches removed. It?s excellent quality and fits true to size, and holds a treat pouch, roll of poop bags, collapsible bowl, supplies for me, etc. without being too bulky to be comfortable. While we don?t usually use the water bladders for service work (there are water fountains, and they mostly fill up the pack), they?ve been great in the Front Range pack he uses for hiking. I?ve recommended this pack to others because we?ve been so happy with it.

Great. He gets more action on his walks. I?m having some issues as it shifts. Adjusting straps to correct that issue.

This is a nice pack, typically I only use it for short day hikes. It fits water as well as some treats and a ball, but not much else. I wish the inside pockets to hold the water pouches were a bit easier to fit.

It fits my 35lb cattle dog well. The only complaint is the water containers are a little too long for the size small. I have to squish and underfill to get in the pockets. The water pouches fit fine in the medium sized pack I used on my 65lb GSD.

Ordered a medium for my 1 yr, 70 pound American Staffordshire Terrier and love this harness for hiking. We spent hours during our hikes and Charlie didn't mind having it on and I'd have to occasionally adjust the pack as it would shift a bit. The handle on the harness is sturdy and allowed me to give Charlie the lift needed when going up some tricky routes. The water pouches are awesome and we can fit in his collapsable bowl, treats, and poop bags in the harness. I didn't have any issues with the chaffing mentioned in other reviews. I'd highly recommend this!

We have used this harness twice and it is rubbing a raw patch on the chest. We have several Ruffwear harnesses and all are great about having a soft padding on the chest. This one has the strap outside of the chest pad. I thought maybe it was not sized right after the first outing, but it happened again yesterday. I will be sowing some felt over this connection part for future use. Would recommend this product be reconsidered in construction. Otherwise, it works great!

I'll give it a 3. This is a well made pack but I find that if it's not balanced perfectly it will slide to one side or another. I also know that they sell a cooling vest to go with this but that pack as is is pretty hot in my opinion. On our last big run I just took it off my dog and carried it myself in my hydration pack. I think I'll either give it away or donate it.

My dog and I loved this pack. He felt like part of the group carrying his own water as he hiked his first mountain in New Hampshire ! He killed it. It was functional and not heavy, easy for him to carry

I bought this pack for my dog for daily hikes and runs, so he could carry his own water. It's the perfect size, low enough profile so he can charge through the brush without getting hung up, but big enough to carry two nice-sized water bottles (included), a bowl, treats, and pick up bags. Love it!

My dog accompanied me on a virtual marathon and was able to pack his own water! I didn't notice any rubbing or chafing anywhere, it must feel a lot like his regular harness because he had no objections.

I got this so that my dog can carry his own water, collapsible dish, **** bags, and also my phone! It has enough space for all of those things but keeps a slender fit to my dog, making it ideal for our runs around the reservoir! I splurged on getting this but I?m so glad I did.

I have a miniature schnauzer and the small pack fits great. He gets so excited to put it on and with water in the sides it helps to tire him out and build muscle. I absolutely love the pack and would highly recommend it.

I bought this for my high drive working dog to wear on our runs so she has a job and reduce pulling. She is carrying water for her, myself and our other dog. This pack still swishes from side to side but doesn?t affect the dog as much as when the large bag packs move around. And she is pulling less now which is great! Will continue using this 5 days a week :)

Once I fitted my 2 dogs packs correctly they barely noticed they had them on. Went hiking in Arizona so it was great that the dogs could carry their own water

My Australian shepherd mix absolutely love this product! It’s comfortable and she loves feeling like part of the team on hikes. The hydration flasks are also great!

Chili is my running partner, and she seems more focused when she's wearing a pack. We were putting her Approach pack on her, but it can be a little bulky for a trail run. I'm very happy that we upgraded to the Singletrak. It's lower profile and quicker to get on and she can still carry water, a foldable bowl, poop bags, and a leash with room to spare.

It took Nova a couple days to get used to wearing it but now she runs around just like always. Now she always has everything she wants on her and even some stuff for us. Best purchase of 2020 by far.

This is a GREAT dog pack! We have a tall, narrow and active 65 pound mutt who is constantly leaping off rocks and running through brush and banging it into trees. No matter what, it stays put better than any pack I have ever tried. In the summer, we take the bladders out and stuff it full of food- it can hold roughly a weekend backpacking trip worth, or, in the winter, she carries her first aid kit and water bowl/water. The handle on the back is perfect for strapping booties to the outside. My only issue (and it happens with our other larger ruff wear pack is that the straps chaff her armpits raw. I solved the problem by purchasing sheep wool halter covers from a horse magazine (they look like wool tubes that have Velcro so you can strap them around anything) I cut them down to size and the wool protects her delicate bits. As a bonus, the wool helps keep the other larger pack from slipping around as much.

My dog loves this backpack! As soon as we put it on, she prances around with pride - happy to have a job. The small fits her perfectly - she’s a 40lb corgi/basset/pittie mix. (She also wears a small in the Float Coat.) It does slide from side to side sometimes but she is not phased by it. I also love that it has a handle so I can pick her up quick and carry her if the trail gets muddy or steep.

This is my favorite! Rook carries our epipens, small wallet and out keys when we go out. It’s the perfect size for daily wear.

I love the doggie backpack! Mookie doesn't love it so much, but he is very good about wearing it. He is an active dog! When he isnt' playing fetch, we go for long hikes, I put it on him. He gets treats when I put it on :)

We absolutely love the pack, it’s just the right amount of space for stuff. We may get a second one for his service dog work we love it so much!

Perfect Canine Day or Overnight Pack

So many good things about this pack. The pockets are roomy enough for water, snacks, keys, **** bags, and the trail runner bowl with a little room to spare. The straps adjust easily and don't get in the way. It doesn't rub his armpits (read on for sizing tips). Everything fits tight to his body and doesn't top from side to side unless the pockets are poorly balanced. The one thing I didn't think much about but I'm really pleased with is the color. My dog blends into the rocks and forest reall...
