Love it! Now my dog can carry her own water, snacks and foldable dish. I also really like the well thought out design- clips and straps are tucked away in their own pockets. - no worry about getting caught on branches, etc.

I bought two of these for each of my dogs and they are the best harnesses to ever exist! They look comfortable on the dogs and the pockets are a life saver. I can keep so many things in them - poop bags, lights, water.

I'm glad I finally got around to purchasing this! It fits great on my greyhound - she doesn't appear to be pinched or restricted in her movement. The side pockets are a good size and will easily carry her poop bags when we're at a park. It was a bit tricky to get it fitted (I need to review the video for that), but putting it on and getting the buckles snapped in is cake. The quality is fantastic, too.

This is perfect for our 30 pound dog. The pouches aren't big, bulky, or baggie. They are quite tight, but enough to hold his poo bags and some treats. The longer sides keep the prickly brush off him, and the way it fastens makes him unable to slip out of his harness when giving him an assist lift over boulders.

Always wanted my dog to carry his own poop on our hikes/trailruns. This is perfect for that. fits well, has two large pockets with plenty of room for his small trail water bowl, a roll of poop bags and with an extra more sturdy bag to avoid breakage, can keep his poop. Fits a leash as we often are on off leash terrain. Dog seems happy with it although prob hotter in the summer but when it's cool, it's a bit extra warmth. The red makes him easy to find on the trails! Good quality, secure attachments, easy to adjust and get it on him. Bought it on sale which is even better!

I love this harness for both my husky and my Chesapeake Bay Retriever! It allows us them to carry their own water bladders, treats and poop bags on journeys. The handle is amazing for helping assist them (or in the case of my husky just helping to pick her up when she decides she's done for a bit).

This switchback harness replaces the same one which has been on many many adventures and is starting, finally, to look a bit sad. This time, we chose the very classy gray color. The L/XL fits our Great Pyrenees (125 lbs) very well, and lets us be more confident when walking with her. Thanks, everyone!

Fits great, excellent storage pouches for small articles like waste bags or a collapsible bowl. Our dog easily overheats and she had no issues on our first hike with her new harness. The handle comes in handy when passing other dogs or for a lift up a steep trail section

Easy to put on pup with multiple snaps. The pockets are pretty small so she won't be able to carry much but for an XS, that's probably best. For our bigger dogs, they like being part of the crew and carrying more weight so they have other Ruffwear backpacks for hiking with more space.

I love the convenient pockets that can carry water, treats, and my keys, and the design prevents my puppy from being able to squirm or back out of the harness. My pup seems to be more mission-oriented during her walks and more tired afterwards.

At first our Goldendoodle was timid about putting on her harness; however, she now knows that the harness represents a walk, a ride or a hike. This is the second harness we have purchased for our two pups. The first one was bought years ago and the workmanship and quality of these products is fantastic. I highly recommend these harnesses.

I was looking for a harness that had pockets for my dog for longer hikes to carry a bit of food and collapsible water bowls without it being bulky or heavy. My 30lb dog does not look disproportionate while wearing it and does not seem to be hotter either (perk for the hot summer months when I do most of my hiking). It seems comfortable and fits well using the size chart. The material feels extremely high quality so I am expecting it to last a while even with the strenuous use it will get.

We really like having a handle and an extra strap to keep our dog from backing out of the harness. The pockets are nice too for carrying essentials.

I had gotten the previous version of this pack for my first dog a couple years back, and loved it. So now that the pack has grown, got the updated version for my other dog. I love the slim style of this pack. We took it out hiking this weekend and it stayed in place and held a small .6L water pouch from the older pack well. I think my only complaint is that this pack does not come with the water pouches and the .6L pouch is being discontinued. Would be great to still have a fitting pouch for this pack, but the pack itself is everything we wanted!

Nice harness - I was impressed with the quality when it arrived. I was looking for a hiking harness but didn't like how bulky some of the other designs looked. The pockets in this one are smaller but still very functional. I was able to fit a regular sized water bottle on each side

This harness is making a huge difference when I walk my Australian Shepherd! She loves it because it's so comfortable on her and she can carry her own bags. It also allows me to grab the handle when she gets scared and flips around. Overall, I'd definitely buy another one!
