I have 3 sizes of pack towels. One full size for car camping where wt is not an issue. One ultralight for multi day backpacking trips where you really only need to dry off and get dressed and one face cloth that I have been using as what is now in the market as a Kula cloth. ( over priced when you can just use a micro face cloth in my opinion) these towels do dry fast. I can wash the face cloth and hang it to dry and it's dry in 2 hours. Same with the towels. I'm not sure of the expected dry time people are looking for but I'm extremely happy with this product.

Perfect for extended trips, light enough to put in your pack or gear and works great for a quick bath or clean-up on the go.

Once it's wet, it is very soft. It doesn't dry as fast as the ultralight towel, but fast enough.

I am disappointed. This "original" towel is not as thick as the towel I had purchased decades ago. You should not call it "Original". It absorbs water as well as other current towels and does not roll up as easily as the other towels, but my old towel resists rolling when I try to dry my back.

I bought 4 of these towels for us 5 years ago. Got the body sized ones. Although they are small for a small adult to use it makes up for in convenience size and quick drying. They have held up very well considering they have been used by kids for camping, pools, beach trips etc... I wash them after every trip and sometimes they were accidentally left for days wet in a bag. No mold or smells yet that are noticeable. I don't wash them special just throw them in with the rest of our clothes. In the future I'm going to try the ultra light in beach size.

This is my favorite towel to have as a backup. I keep one in my car, at home, and in my camp gear just in case.

I have two of these as my only every-day towels, got them around 3 years ago adn they still perform just as well as on the first day. However, the one I got my husband is only about 1,5 years old, and it's gotten to the point where the towel has a stale, mildewy-smell even straight out of the washing machine. Since I can't use bleach on it, or wash it in high temperatures, there's really not much I can do besides tossing it and getting a new one, which is of course, disappointing and not sustainable.

I purchased this for my son for Christmas who already has one. He uses it when he and his family go camping. He told me it dries quickly and is compact, doesn't take up much room when packing for their weekend camping.

This was used on a recent camping trip. Loved how easily it dried out in the sun after a number of lake swims.

One of the things I find this most useful for is that, when I get a leg cramp at home, I can run it under really hot water, wring it out and then wrap it around where the cramp is. Instant relief! However, the one I have is really old and I need to replace it but I don't see the same size listed here. It's about 8in x 32in...long and narrow. I like the original--seems to be made of felt--and I don't much like microfiber, so would prefer this. Did you discontinue that size or am I looking in the wrong place?

After about 10 years of use for a month or two each year on backpacks/cycle tours etc it finally lost it's odour-free quality. Apart from that it still behaves exactly as the manufacturer said in the ads, light weight, compact, excellent drying ability, no smell, quick drying for re-use. Perfect! I'll be buying a new one.

I own the smallest of the pack towels and I never leave the house without it. They serve many purposes such as wiping down your tent if you have to set it up in the rain, washing your face and body and cooling yourself down. They are lightweight, quick dry and can carabiner to the outside of your pack while it dries.
