Camino Primitivo

I hiked the Camino Primitivo with my husband for his 70th birthday in 2021. Since our luggage was moved to each hotel, I used the Tempest Pro as a daypack and it fit well over my Patagonia sweater vest. It was comfortable to walk and maneuver in and it fits like a glove to the body. I filled it up, but it did not feel heavy. I could fit my hydration reservoir (Gregory, wide mouth fit perfectly), rain gear, puffy jacket (Whisperer 2), 2 pair hiking gloves (Mountain Hardware and Coolibar fingerless), snacks, sunscreen, extra pair of Darn Tough socks, Patagonia Houdini jacket in outside mesh pocket, neck fan, documents, glasses case and cash in inside upper mesh pocket, iPhone X in front side pocket, Kleenex and small hard candies in other front side pocket. I also took a folded up BeFree water bottle in the side mesh pocket just in case I needed to filter water. Overall, it is a bit pricy, but it was perfect for the Camino with just the right amount of pockets, zip ties, comfy shoulder straps and breathable back panel. I plan to take it on the Camino Portuguese in 2022.
