The size is perfect for international travel. The frame and handle are pretty sturdy and the wheels roll over rough pavement pretty well. They are about 1/2" larger in diameter than my other trolley type suitcases. I like the fact it can expand when I travel in the U. S. , and pack smaller for travel in the EU.

My wife and I were going to France and I needed a new carry-on bag, so I bought the Osprey Transporter 4-wheel hybrid carry-on bag because I know Osprey makes great products with a great warranty. We just got back from our trip and the bag was fantastic. I had a choice of laying the bag down and loading it from the top or keeping the bag vertical and packing from the bottom on up:) Thank You Osprey for making this bag. Thanks, Darcy

I really like this bad, it's compact, and the gloss black looks really good. I just wish they would put higher quality wheels. They work ok, but why not use full metal wheels with nicely greased bearing? Would provide a really quality feel when rolling through the airport.

I've used this bag on about 75 flights. After the first dozen or so trips, the wheels started wobbling horrifically. Haven't gotten to trip 76 because the handle snapped in half while I was rolling it through an airport. No bueno. Material, zippers, weight and organization are just about perfect. Handles and wheels ... yikes.

Have always been a fan of osprey for my outdoor needs so was super excited to see 4 wheel roller for work trips. Bag is well built as expected. I wasn't sure about not having a clamshell style bag but the front loading has less of a footprint when open which is nice when space is limited. My only complaint is that the wheels get speed wobbles when rolling on all 4 wheels even on smooth surfaces so it's not the smoothest bag I have ever rolled which was surprising with how big the wheels are.

This case is perfect for my typical 2-3 day business trips. The main compartment is large enough to hold a women's tri-fold garment bag accessory, and leaves plenty of room for a pair of extra shoes, toiletries, and extra clothes. The case is very light, yet stable, and easy to load in overhead bins, even in smaller regional jets. The front pocket is perfect for a smaller laptop or large tablet, and leaves enough room for a book, e-reader, or magazines. It is very easy to maneuver in airplane aisles, and crowded airports, especially when dashing for a connecting flight, and sturdy enough to serve as a footstool during long lay-overs. The top pocket is a bit small for a quart-size liquids bag, especially if the bag is full, but certainly useful. I am a big fan of Osprey products, and have a several backpacks and larger hybrid rollerbag/backpack. I can't say enough good things about them!
