Tested out the Sirrus 36

Tested out the Sirrus 36 for the first time in the Moosehead Lake Region in Maine. This pack is great for any type of hike from a short day hike to a long trek and beyond. It's very comfortable and sits well on the shoulders. The weight distribution is great and it is very easy to adjust as you're moving. It is very easy to secure your trekking poles and you'll be checking to see if they fell out because you don't notice them - don't worry, they're still there. Absolutely great pack for all types of hiking and treks. However, this pack truly shines on moderate-hard trails that require some climbing and meneuvering. You have to try it.

10/10 Would Recommend

I hiked 900 miles through Europe with this thing and was SO surprised by how comfortable it was. It was my first ever backpack, so I don't have much to compare to, but I genuinely believe it to be a quality & very comfortable pack. The cage/back system hugs nicely and the straps are comfortably padded. Adjustable in all the essential ways. The front-most pocket is not a stretchy mesh or bungie system, but the pocket still fit a good amount of stuff. I could handle getting creative with tying and hanging bits of my stuff around the pack if I really had a lot to carry for a time (eg. a sweatshirt, a tee that needed to dry, an extra pair of shoes). It did fall over pretty regularly when set down, but surely this is normal for all packs? Wasn't a big deal to find something to lean it against, but if you know that would drive you crazy, I guess look elsewhere. Big bonus was that it meets most airline carry-on measurements, which was one of the main reasons I bought this bag. I didn't have a problem with that on any US or European airlines (though, it was pre-covid). All-in-all, a great pack!

Love This Pack But It Just Doesn't Fit Me!

I'm somewhat heartsick I can't keep this pack. I love the zippered compartments...easy access and also very tidy and contained. I LOVE the sage color! I will buy this pack as soon as you create it with the old system of S/M & M/L suspension systems. As a 5'0" woman I just don't ever fit anything created to be one-size-fits-all! When I put it on, I can't put my head back to look up &, frankly, it just looks ridiculous. I understand that making only one pack sizing system is cost effective, but for anyone who is vertically-challenged, it just doesn't work. Please redo it...and keep the great color! I would recommend this to anyone who is over 5'5".
