We LOVE this backpack. It is comfortable, easy to adjust (my husband is almost a foot taller than me), and our son loves it. Underrated use: airports! We used this way more than we use our stroller before our son could walk. Plenty of storage, easy to use, super durable. It's in mint condition still after heavy use for 2 summers including a weeklong vacation flying to Colorado with a week of hiking and camping. Our little guy has outgrown his willingness to ride instead of walk before he outgrew the specs, and he's off the growth charts. It was a gift but I wouldn't hesitate to drop $ on this and highly recommend it to all my outdoorsy friends who are expecting!

I did quite a bit of research into carriers before this purchase as there is a lot to consider. I wanted safety, as number one, I love to hike but definitely have taken some slips. I wanted a full frame and snug harness. This definitely fits my growing boy without compromising safety. The adjustable seat and harnesses have grown with him while keeping him still snug. But with that, now at 2 years old, and hiking in the winter, his boots don't fit thru the leg holes, so he is briefly bootless to be loaded. Still worth it. Next favorite is the quick easy adjustable torso/shoulder straps. Goes between my husband and I easily. Next bonus, is the place for the water bladder, so convenient for long hikes, I don't have to take up space with water bottles for me, my son, and dog. I have used this carrier every week since I bought it a year ago. I love to hike and it's so nice I can bring my son with me.

Took this backpack hiking for a week. Our baby was so comfortable he slept through most of our hikes. Very happy so far.

Not so great for winter, as the leg slots & foot slots are way too small for kids in bulky winter gear, we live in Alaska, so for 9 months of they year our kids are in ski pants/rain suits & large boots.

This pack is our go-to and has been since our baby has been about 7mos. It is safe, supportive, has a ton of pockets/storage space so you can travel sans diaper bag, and is super ergonomically comfortable for baby and pack mule alike (momma/dada). We have used it hiking, dog walking (chuck it conveniently fits in open pocket), for vacuuming and chores around the house and even the grocery store; we bring this thing everywhere. This was a gift to us, but I would not want to live without it. If you're on the fence about buying/choosing a legit carrier, DO IT - you won't be disappointed. Words spoken by a self proclaimed minimalist.

I have used this hiking pack/child carrier on several hikes so far. From flat trails in Florida, to mountains in Tennessee. I highly recommend this pack as it is ergonomically designed and the weight distribution of the child is extremely comfortable during strenuous hikes.
