Tight Fit, Long Fingers, Decent Dexterity Med Warm

For starters, I get really cold fingers. I've got decent pain tolerance, but I have been searching for warm gloves for a while. I like the dexterity of gloves for skiing and like to purchase gloves for the dual purpose of resort/cold backcountry days and some light mountaineering. Maybe I need to give these gloves another shot?but I wasn't happy with the cold in the fingers from my first semi-cold day out skiing. Of course, on an even colder day, the cold was just ripping through my fingers. After a few hours, stopping in the lodge, my friend confirmed the gloves just felt unreasonably cold in the tips. I think I've just got to give up gloves for skiing and find mittens. I agree with others, the fit feels tight and I went for a size L because of my larger/thicker fingers. Ultimately, it felt like there was a lot of room in the fingers, which I expected to perhaps help in the colder temps, but alas it did not. I will give these another try, perhaps on a less bitter cold/windy day to see how they fare. The gauntlets and finger strap are very nice and I remember them coming with waterproofing wax that I can't find now. Will have to report back in the future

Well thought out. Great two-layer gloves.

Basically perfect. Fit tight at first but they broke in quickly and became very comfortable but still a bit tight for me. However, I have wide hands and thick fingers that are short for the width. I usually wear extra large mittens or three finger gloves because of this. These are the first cold-weather five finger gloves I can wear comfortably. I highly recommend these. Good for me to -25C doing moderate activity. Any colder is mitts territory anyway, so these are great.

I usually wear extra large mittens or three finger gloves because of this. These are the first cold-weather five finger gloves I can wear comfortably. I highly recommend these.
