I don't own this backpack specifically but the backpack I bought from OGIO ten years ago has been my daily backpack ever since! Build quality and durability are proving to be long lasting. I have had ZERO problems with my product and would recommend any bag OGIO sells.

what I don't like: slightly too small; too few inner pockets - need pens, business cards, charging accessories; the inner pocket of the laptop sleeve should fit a tablet - it doesn't; inner liner in black doesn't provide any visibility; and is JUST too small for my daily use. what I like: color combo - burgandy and navy - love love love; stylish but sporty design, roller bag sleeve; durability and quality.

Just used my new Alpha 20 backpack for a short vacation trip. Backpack appears well constructed. My 3 star rating is due to the following: Top carrying handle is small and stringy. Very uncomfortable. The bottle holders were unusable! With a full backpack the fabric at the top edge of the bottle holder pockets are stretched tight and it is impossible to insert even a small bottle...

Best Backpack I have ever owned! I also receive a lot of compliments on it, and now at least a few people I know want to buy one. The color scheme is awesome, the compartments are PERFECT, the pockets on the sides are somehow also perfect. A lot of thought went into this backpack and it shows. I live in Chicago and commute for work and you just cannot live here without a solid backpack. If my backpack ever dies I am buying the same exact one. I am obsessed with it!!

I have had the 25L for about a year now. I travel for work and constanly on the go. The bag is big enough for evertthing i have and more. I have 2 problems with this bag. 1: The handle at the top should be sewn on the back of the bag. When you use the handle to hang the bag (keep it off a dirty floor) you cant acess anything in the middle pocket. 2: The zippers suck! the stitching arpunf the zippers are coming loose. I purchased this backpack for my daughter for lacrosse and she loves it. The look alone is super fun. It has tons of storage which can be controlled with expandable clips, plenty of packets and zippers to keep all of her gear organized and separate. We have had other Ogio backpacks for years, so I know the quality is great. So happy with the purchase!

I don't write many reviews, but I love this backpack so much I have to make sure others know about it. This backpack is sturdy and really well made. The arm straps are thick and comfortable and the two water bottle holders are both large (large enough to fit my 32 oz camelback water bottle). It's nothing "fancy" but the material feels high quality and the bag is simple but sleek looking. The size is perfect for what I wanted-- day trips, walking through the city, or going to work. If I could design my own backpack it would be just like this one, seriously. I will be keeping my eye out for Ogio products from now on!

I purchased the Alpha 20L Backpack before a recent trip to Mexico. My previous carry-on had seen better days and it was time to upgrade. So glad I did! This bag is perfect for travel. It held several days worth of "Mexico clothes" (swimsuit, tshirts, flip flops, toiletry bag, laptop, extended screen, iPad and all the cables). Added bonus are the cool colors.

I use this as my work bag and bike to work. It's the perfect size, not bulky. Comfortable to wear and keeps all my stuff organized with its many compartments.

Love this backpack! the Purple Passion colors are fabulous! The side pockets hold a 32 oz cup with or without handles easily they are deep as well. I got this for my 5th Grade daughter but after this year I'm stealing it she can have something else next year.

I had never heard of Ogio before I ordered this backpack. I absolutely love it! I use it for work and it has plenty of pockets and a place for my laptop. It is well made and very sturdy. Love the colors as well. I highly recommend the Alpha 20L backpack.

Almost perfect! I was looking for a backpack to take with me through the airport. The deep water bottle holders (nothing worse than your water bottle falling out when you bend over) and sleeve that fits over a roller bag handle are awesome features! I love the smaller pockets on the front with some internal organization. My only complaint is the laptop sleeve. Honestly, when I'm on vacation, I don't want to be anywhere near a laptop. So I wish the laptop pocket was just another unpadded pocket like the other deep pocket. But knowing that just about any non-hiking backpack is going to come with a padded pocket, this one is exceptionally narrow and heavily padded, making the pocket difficult to use for anything else and also the bag heavier than it should be. I looked into the 25L alpha, and the bag just got taller and the pockets taller as well. The thought of having to pack things on top and pull everything out to get to something at the bottom was less appealing. So, pros: small pockets, water bottle holders, roller bag sleeve. Also the zippers are very smooth. Cons: narrow and heavily padded laptop sleeve. Also wish the 20L had the security pocket on the back like the 25L-would be nice to keep the boarding passes there...

I bought this backpack for work and love it! I'm an ER nurse and love all the different pockets for organizing my gear, books, iPad and all other essentials for a 12 hour shift. It's the perfect size and you can even hang some of your tools like trauma shears off the front straps. Love the colors and everyone at work compliments it as well. The straps being padded is a plus too.

Second purchase I've made from Ogio. First and second bags bought are both 5 of 5 in terms of looks, durability, quality, and practicality. Bought the 20L for a more EDC friendly pack. Carries everything I need without being too big. Absolutely happy with this brand & products. No issues with stitching, zippers, or aesthetics. The Alpha 20 L is a new favorite and the color options are excellent. Can wear with anything casual. Perfect for urban/light outdoors hiking as well. Can get a little hot on warmer days, but that's expected with any pack TBH. Tried an Osprey 20L that made wearing one a little cooler. But the bag won't stand when setting it down. Ogio bags to me are superior to anything I've bought... Maxpedition is a worthy mention, but prices are quite high for most. Ogio meets quality, looks, symmetry, practicality, comfort, and has options for larger travel bags/luggage at fair price point for what they offer. Very happy with the QUALITY of this brand. Only thing I would change? Making the interior of the pockets a light color like a grey for example. It would help to see the contents inside the pocket or zipper compartments... only suggestion I have.

I bought this backpack for a trip to Europe and it did not disappoint! It was the perfect size as a personal item on a plane or train with several compartments for water bottles, phone, laptop, snacks, and books. It also fit quite comfortably on my 5'7" female frame. The color palette is of course really fun, too. My only feedback would be that I wish there were more pocket organization in the front two pockets to hold headphones, chapstick, etc, but I bought a small zippered pouch that did the trick.

This bag is perfect for my laptop and school supplies. It has a nice padded section to keep my laptop safe. And I really like the mesh zip pocket to hold my charging cords. The only draw backs so far are the water bottle pockets on the sides are a little tight for my Nalgene water bottles, also, the zippers go all the way into the water bottle pockets, so if I zip up my bag and then place my water bottle in it, I can't unzip the main pockets with out removing the water bottle. Also if I fill up the big pocket with notebooks, the water bottle won't fit in the side pocket either. I love the colors and patterns on the bag, and kinda wish I'd gotten the 25L version.

My previous backpack was a Swiss Gear brand, Heather Gray, 21.4 Liter that I used for several years for work and personal life. The stitching around the primary compartment's zipper started to come undone, so I contacted Swiss Gear about the issue. I thought this would be something covered by their warranty, but they told me my model was from some other subsidiary and that it probably wouldn't work under their warranty program. I ended up looking for another brand backpack as a replacement after that experience! This bag was similar in dimensions as my previous bag and also had other features that were much appreciated (drink holders on the sides, stronger feeling materials). The color options were also very fun and this new bag is pretty cool when I walk into work with it now. I'm hoping the durability of this bag holds up much better than my previous one, but time will tell on that.

I have been looking for the perfect travel backpack. The last one I had was stolen, and I was kinda glad as I wasn't super happy with it anyways. My requirements: carry-on strap (that strap that allows you to slide it on your suitcase handle), many pockets, large water bottle side pockets, cool looking. (yes cool looking is a requirement because black and grey backpacks are SO BORING. I want fun ok?) I wanted to be good as both a carry-on personal item and work as a daypack when going on various day trips, either city tracking or hikes. This bag passed with flying colors. Not only did it hit all my requirements (I have one of those 32oz Owala bottles and it slipped in the side pocket with no struggle!), but it worked so dang well. It held all the things, kept them organized, easy to find, wasn't a pain on the back. The Purple Passion style was basically made for me. Thank you SO MUCH for making functional AND cool looking bags.

I bought this backpack a month ago and I love it so much. I have Long COVID and fibromyalgia, I just went back to University for my final year, and all my backpacks were causing me significant pain. I needed a more ergonomic bag that would be comfortable, easy to take on and off, and not be floppy when empty or poorly distributed when heavy.  It's super cute, comfortable, and has just the right amount of organization for me to keep things neat but not lose things in forgotten pockets. Since it's not in the photos, I'll describe: the laptop compartment is comfortably cushioned, my devices feel very safe. The main compartment has a large mesh zipper pocket inside on the back of it. There are two front pockets: the top one has a couple open pockets inside to store pens, small notepads, etc. The second (lower) pocket is spacious and plain. I love the separate laptop and tablet section, it's part of why I chose this pack. It fits my 16" laptop with a drop protection case really well. The front clip is adjustable, and I love the side clips that cinch the backpack in so nothing flops around on my back. You can really pack a lot (or a little) into it, and it maintains its shape and size regardless... It doesn't bulk out. My only complaint is that the water bottle pockets aren't stretchy and don't cinch, so while they are perfect for my large water bottles, anything smaller will slip out of the pocket when you bend over. It's definitely water resistant, but I wouldn't want to be caught in the rain -- though I think it would keep the materials inside safe for long enough. Ultimately, I'm extremely happy with my purchase, it was totally worth the money, I absolutely love how it looks and how it feels to use it.
