Ogio Layover Wheeled Travel Bag

I would've given this bag 5 ?? before my last trip. When the airline checked my bag, I retrieved it and there is a big chunk out of one of the wheels. I bought replacement wheels, but you cannot remove the main bolt that attaches the wheel. I removed the entire rail and still had no way to change the wheel. I reached out to customer service twice and got no response.

I have had this bag since 2016-2017 and I love it. This bag has helped me travel to Iraq, Qatar, Afghanistan, Egypt, and all over the US for work. It has held up so well! As with everything it's starting to show its age but I will be buying a new one. The best bag I have ever purchased

I love this bag except for the knobs in back make it hard to fit in some over head bins. Also the wheel split and I've only used it for a month. Disappointing!

I've owned Ogio bags since they started. They were top quality and fantastic support for the longest time. They tout a limited lifetime warranty and say they "stand behind their products in a serious way". BUT...that doesn't include the wheels on a roller bag. The rollers are even part of the name, but those are not warrantied. I'm no longer an Ogio enthusiast. Their products are not cheap to buy but apparently not top quality anymore.

Great Bag. I ordered this 2 months ago as I fly for a living. Had paid for the personalized embroidery as I am on a team. I did receive the bag embroidered with a Japanese guys name on it. Called to fix the issue. They did send regular bag for replacement. Never did receive my custom bag. But overall bag is great and is worth the money.

I have already taken two trips and this bag is the perfect size for carry on. I bought it along with the Renegade backpack for a solid travel package and they compliment each other nicely.

The Layover Travel Bag was ideal as a carry-on, sliding perfectly into the overhead compartment. The Ski-Doo Laptop Backpack was my under-seat companion-it fit neatly under the seat or between my legs, keeping my tech secure and easily accessible. The Head Case Helmet Bag deserves a special shoutout-despite being tossed around by airline staff, it fully protected my helmet with no damage whatsoever. This trip wasn't your average airport-to-hotel journey. After several layovers, we switched vehicles multiple times, eventually loading all the bags onto a sled trailer pulled by a snowmobile. During the hour-long snowmobile ride to our remote cabin, the bags were exposed to snow and ice, yet everything inside stayed completely dry. When I unpacked, all my gear and clothing were in pristine condition-a testament to OGIO's exceptional design and durability. Each bag performed flawlessly and exceeded expectations. My only small critique would be that the Layover Travel Bag could benefit from a four-wheel design for easier upright maneuvering in crowded airports and tight airplane aisles. Overall, these OGIO bags not only kept up with the demands of rugged travel but actively enhanced the experience by keeping my belongings safe, dry, and organized. Great looking bag, seems to have the legendary Ogio quality and durability. BUT I had to send it back. Website says it's 14" wide. This measurement must have been taken in the middle of the bag where it is narrower. That is not how airline rules work. The widest part of this bag is at the bottom where is is EXACTLY 15" wide. Delta's maximum carry-on luggage width is 14". -Is one inch over the maximum obvious when looking at the bag? No. -Will it be ok 99% of the time? Yes. -Do hundreds of people carry this on Delta flights every day with no issue? Yes. But if you know you have a really tight connection at a huge airport, do you really want to risk somebody measuring your bag and making you check it on the first flight, causing you to miss that connection?? I can't afford that risk, because my life is already stressful enough. Second glaring fault, and what really broke this deal for me, is that the zippers at the bottom touch the ground when the bag is sitting upright. Even though there a plastic bar in the front designed to keep this from happening, the fabric and zippers droop down in between and make full contact with the floor. Completely unacceptable. It's bad enough having to roll a suitcase through street puddles and gross restrooms, but at least it's limited to the wheels. This bag will definitely soak up liquids when it's parked. The zippers will also scrape the ground and become damaged, as other reviewers point out. In summary: If your airline will accept 15" wide carry-ons and you never have to worry about liquid on the ground soaking into the bag, go for it. It looks fantastic, has tons of convenient pockets, and it's built like a tank.

Excellent carryon bag for most planes. I loved it so much, I bought my wife one too. Only thing I would like added is like in the bigger Terminal bag which is also great, is to add the zipper mesh on the bottom compartment also to the Layover bag.

I have a larger version of this bag that I used for a trip to Alaska. I bought this smaller version for a 4 day trip to NYC so that I could pack everything I needed in a carryon. It worked perfectly and I have used it a number of times since my trip to NYC for short weekend trips. I really like this bag for its convenience, size, and its ability to hold all that I need.

I haven't used the bag long enough to comment on its durability but it seems extremely well made.  The color is beautiful. It is a little heavier than I had hoped. Lots of nice pockets and handles.

Bought the bag to have an additional carry on for our trip to Spain. I had a trip before and the  Wheels started to make a noise. It looks like one of the wheels is not installed properly and rubs. Which makes the annoying nosies.  Bag is also heavy.

As an airline employee for 22 years I wanted a leisure travel bag that did not scream BORING.  This bag completely fits the bill and it and it is so much lighter than my work bag.  Domestically it fit easily and I will be testing international in May but do not expect any problems.  Thanks for making a bag that makes me smile??

Love everything about my daughters new bag. I'm am disappointed with the size of Font on the stitching of my daughters name and number I had added. If I had known it would be this small, I  would have left it blank and had it done locally. Other than that, the bag is awesome.

LOVE my Ogio layover bag. I bought my first Ogio travel bag 20 years ago and I was thrilled with until just recently the zipper was torn during a trip to the west coast. I just bought my new bag and I am thrilled. They made improvements on storage areas and pouches and even upgraded the wheels. This is a bag that will last you a lifetime as the quality is at the highest level.
