Oboz Sawtooth Low Hiking Shoes with BDRY for Women - Violet

With an upcoming trip to Yellowstone and living near the Smokies, I was looking for an all-terrain, comfortable, low-top hiking shoe for warm weather hiking. With the Sawtooth Low, I think I found it. I tested them out at Yellowstone last week and could not be more pleased with the traction, protection, fit, and breathability as tested during miles of hiking and walking over a variety of Western terrain every day for a week in warmer than usual weather. I haven't tested them out in the Smokies yet, which is an entirely different environment -- wet and slick, rocky, rooty, and steep, but I have confidence that they can handle it. Like my other Oboz, they were comfortable right out of the box. Bought half a size up. The only bad thing I can say is that they're slightly bulky, but I prefer the extra protection over a lighter weight shoe.
