These wetsuit pants are very nice and well made. I will be wearing cargo shorts over them and there is no problem with them bunching up. There are grippers on the seat but none on the knees which would be an improvement. I ordered using the size chart and didn't think they would fit when they arrived. The waist looked very small but they fit perfectly. I am a grandmother so I no longer have a young woman's shape. I ordered small 5'6" tall and 145 pounds.

I have 2 pair of these NeoSports XSPAN 1.5mm Unisex Pants . I am a curvy female and find they fit well if I size up. I have a pair in L that is holding up well after a few years. This year, I added a second pair in XX-L so I could wear them over the other pair and get 3mm, plus the benefit of layering, when the water goes below 70 degrees. They are very stretchy and flexible, even wearing both pair! I wear them mostly in my saltwater pool, and occasionally in the Gulf, and before the pandemic, sometimes I wore the first pair in a chemical chlorine pool. I wash them in freshwater after every use; occasionally use a clear dish detergent, and always use this after wearing in either the Gulf of Mexico or chemical chlorine pool. Great product for swimming, deep water walking/running , water aerobics. I wear them with the matching stretchy 1.5 mm top, and in colder water, I add your pretty womens Ocean Quest 2mm zip vest and/or your 3 mm zip waterman?Äôs jacket. Scuba.com has consistently excellent, helpful, and knowledgeable customer service.

These pants are absolutely the best for Paddleboarding! Perfect weight and stretch. I bought an extra pair to have in my house for guests to use.

Very true to size or even slightly larger. Bought for kayaking. Very comfortable and warm. The air temp. today was 65 and I actually was sweating. The water temp. was 68. It was not uncomfortable to wade out and get wet. The length for a taller person would be perfect. I folded the leg up on itself and that worked fine.

This pants are only 1.5mm, but for warmish waters they are fabulous. I have not liked wearing wetsuits because they feel so confining, but these are stretchy like none I've ever worn before and so super comfortable. So comfortable I don't mind having them on for awhile before getting into the water or after getting out. They are really great.

I have been diving in the shorts version of these XSPAN pants for a couple of years and have really enjoyed them. There are a couple of features that make them super comfortable for warm water diving. First, they are not as binding and confining as a 3mm traditional wet suit which I love because wet suits (especially full wet suits) make me feel claustrophobic. These provide nice protection against stings and scrapes when paired with a long-sleeved dive top of similar weight (I wear a Lavaskin). The pants are very high-waisted, which means that if you are going with the two-piece dive suit like I do, if/when your top moves around upon entry or while diving, you still have full coverage. The picture actually shows how far these pants go up in the back, as you can see. I am a short woman of 5'3 and ended up having the pant altered in length, but they are true to length for a unisex pant. It was well worth it to have them shortened to a point where they overlap the top of my booties but don't bunch up or have to be tucked in or rolled up. A word of warning on thermal protection. I recently dove in these pants+Lavaskin in 78 degree waters in Belize and found myself getting cold a few times. If you are at all cold natured, these will likely not provide enough thermal protection even in warmer water. I am not sensitive to cold and have dived in XSPAN shorts plus a rash guard many times in 82 degree water and was comfortable. Those 4 degrees make a big difference. These pants are durable, comfortable and functional. I would highly recommend for WARM water diving if you are a person who shuns the traditional wet suit and desires modest thermal protection with adequate surface coverage against possible stings or scrapes.

As stated in Pros this is appears to be an excellent product after being used twice. Time will tell re:durability for sitting in the tube.

Well what can I say about this except that it is highly practical for what it is built for. Keeps me warm, good protection, true to fit and most importantly comfortable. Exactly what I was and have been looking for. Price is reasonable and I will definitely let my dive buddy know about this. Thanks Leisurepro!

I bought this along with a long sleeve dive skin top as an alternative to wearing a full 3 mm wetsuit for diving in Bonaire. I used it for a full week of diving (2-3 dives per day; almost all shore diving; ). The fit is good; I'm short (5'3"),so the length I a little long, but wasn't a problem. The 1.5 mm thickness provided some warmth without the extra bulk of a 3 mm wetsuit. I wore a long sleeve dive skin top over my swimsuit top. This worked well for warm water diving and was more comfortable than my full wetsuit. I left them on and wasn't sweltering hot between dives either. The drawstring worked great for keeping the waist cinched. I think these pants would work best for warm water diving or snorkeling, swimming. We dove 2-3 times per day; if you dive 3-4 times per day you might want something a little thicker for added warmth. I did not wear these on night dives - I wore my 3 mm for extra warmth. The only major con to these pants are that they do not have reinforced or padded knees, which meant my knees were a little more beat up than usual when I was exiting my shore dives (I wait out in the surf a little ways on my knees on rough exits and my husband comes and takes in my BC). I am going to look for a pair that has knee pads or try to see if I can glue on some knee pads for this reason. Otherwise, I am very happy with this set of pants!

These pants are very nice I use them daily for indoor pool swimming (its a cold pool) and they are easy to put on and off. I use for swimming and bought 1 size smaller than normal so they would be tighter. The material is pretty stretchy so these would likely not work for high speed water sports.

Whatever your water activates take you layering is the key to warmth. Neo-Sport recognizes this need and fulfills the requirement with its XSPAN line of products. The exclusive XSPAN material is ultra-soft and comfortable to wear, that's why Neo-Sports uses 100% 1.5mm XSPAN with 250% 4-way super-stretch foam neoprene rubber in the construction of this great pair of pants. When worn under an exposure suit it will increase heat retention by slowing down water exchange and adding an additional thermal barrier layer.
The EXSPAN 1.5mm Pants can also be used as a standalone water sports garment when minimal thermal protection is required or protection from sun and critters are an issue. Either way the XSPAN Pants will do the job and more. When worn under an exposure suit the flat lock stitched seams create a smooth interior and exterior for added comfort and durability. To properly secure the XSPAN 1.5mm Pants they come equipped with an off centered barrel lock cinch shock cord waist band. The flat lock stitched seams mean when worn under an exposure suit you won't look like the B&O Railroad runs up and down your legs at the end of your water activities. The Neo-Sports Pants are available in multiple sizes and colors.
