Great tent. Super easy to set up. Bents great and held up like a champ in sustained 25-30 mph wind.

Great tent. Plenty of space. I bought this specifically for me and my dog (and pawprint). My only complaint is what others have mentioned, the single zipper. Would be ideal to have a second zipper. But I ended up getting a fix n zip zipper and attached it to the door to give me a second zipper. Otherwise, the times I've used it so far, zero condensation.

I purchased two 3p tents. Both colors. Vertical walls are a must. Spacious floor and a true 3p design, aided by vertical walls, makes this a very nice tent. Easy up and easy down. Does good in the wind. Our family of 5 fits comfortably in two 3p tents. The ONE down side... the Zippers. Two zippers would make this tent unbeatable. You have to reach under the guy'ed out portion of the fly to reach the, one, zipper. It's a bit of a reach and may require you to put a knee down to reach. These tents are so comfortable we backpack with them. Split the fly's, bodies and poles umogst 5 and we're golden. Coupled with our Tensor pads Kaiu bags we couldn't be more comfortable.

This is my second tent from Nemo. My first tent, the vestibule started to separate so they gave me a replacement. The Aurora 2p which is what I have I would've preferred the blue, but all they had was the green not a problem with that the tent itself is fantastic set up very quickly, very spacious on the inside. I use it for motorcycle touring and backpacking. And it has never failed me. the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is the zipper. My old tent had a two-way zipper. This only has a one-way zipper and for me, I feel that's a big drawback. Other than that you cannot find fault with this tent at all fantastic tent

I love this tent for shorter backpacking trips. I used a buddies a few months ago in AZ and fell in love that I just bought my own. The zipper issue sucks but the space inside is amazing I love it.

Not sure why people complain about the ONE ZIPPER issue. During my camping trip, I have not noticed the one zipper on each door caused any problems for my girlfriend and me. We camp at about 12 degrees Celsius (~53F). Using a -2C(me) -8C(my girlfriend) sleeping bag is the all-rounder for us in the East end of Australia. We opened the top vent point and did not peg out the side walls. Thanks to the top vent, no condensation on the fly at the next morning. Midnight was a thunderstorm. The inner tent and the floor are completely dry. We put all our begs near us inside the tent so they are also dry. But our shoes were under the vestibule right near the inner tent. Unfortunately, they still get splashed with muddy water and feel a bit damp. Maybe it's because this is my first time setting up the tent, and did not tension out the vestibule properly. We only pegged out the tent corners and did not add any additional guy lines. During the thunderstorm (maybe somewhat less than 20 km/h + we camp near the car and a bush). The tent is sold. The tent shake a few times during that night, but it is still standing well with no parts twisted or damaged. Other reviews said the tent could withstand even stronger winds without guyline, and I think is true. But if you want a quiet and less shakey night, I still recommend to guy out the four corners anyways. Is a great tent that suits our needs. 3P size is large enough for 2+ backpacks, especially during horrible weather. weight less than 3kg is definitely doable for a two-person hiking setup. We did not have many through-hikes down under. Most common overnight hikes are around 1 to 2 night short hikes in national parks, and weight did not affect much during these kinds of short hikes. The tent is also perfect for car camping. My previous tent is a big 4-person,1 living space+1 bedroom family style tent. It is indestructible, but it also takes up so many spaces in my apartment and my trunk, plus is a hefty 20kg tent. I'm happy to move back to a backpacking-style tent. faster set-up time and less exhausting to set up after a long drive.

Hi, I'm in New Zealand and bought my Aurora 3P from a local reseller Outdoor Action. This is my first tent from Nemo, and I must say that I'm super impressed. I've owned probably 20+ tents in my hiking career including Exped, Zpacks etc and this tent is extremely well made and thought out in the design, and the materials seem to be rugged enough, will find out soon when I get outdoors with it. It's HUGE inside!!! Just what my wife and I need...it's a shame I can't seem to find a 3P Pawprint anywhere as I'd love to have that to make the floor more luxurious. Awesome low profile with extra tie outs if you want to use them...can't wait to take out to "middle earth"!!! Would be great to have dual zippers. As my wife and I are splitting the weight on this tent...to spread the 3kgs between us, it would be great if Nemo on the whole could make some of your awesome tent designs with DCF or similarly lighter weight material for the gram counters out there, like me when I'm hiking solo... Overall very impressed and very happy with my purchase...can't wait to see what this company has up its sleeve...James

The one way zipper on both doors is not my favorite. The color of the tent is great, the shape is great. But, I found myself becoming annoyed by having to open the door all the way and close it all the way in order to get in or out. This is entirely my fault for not thoroughly researching the product. But, I do like the design.

I used this tent for the first time this weekend. First time setting it up was in the dark and I only had a head lamp and was still very easy to set up. Was quick as well as everything is self explanatory if you have ever set up a tent before. Main reasonI got this was because of being able to add the pawprint to it for my dog to save the floor from his claws. The space on the inside was very spacious. Loved the light pocket at the top of the tent, perfect to put your head lamp in and spreads the light very well. Gear pockets were big enough for my stuff sacks and other common items for camping. Vestibule space was plenty for all my gear and 2 other people as well. I was the only person in this 3 person tent but still would have plenty of wiggle room for all 3 people. Even if some are the toss and turn type. The price is just hard to beat for a high quality tent. My ONLY disappointment was it only had 1 zipper per door. Should have had 2 zippers and then this thing is perfect for car camping.

I currently am spending my first night in this tent and it is splendid, it had a very easy setup and is perfect for a backpacking tent and a camping tent, the light diffusing fabric works very well, overall a great first opinion from me, I will mostlikely going to post an update to this review in the morning after some rain and cold ( it?s dark so no picture

Purchased this tent this year based solely on reviews on the website and price. My son and I recently used this tent on a 2-day backpacking trip. During this trip, a huge storm hit the area. We hunkered down for the evening and weathered torrential rains and wind. I was a bit worried of the weatherproofing of this tent. Wind gusts were hitting 60+ MPH, with the wind blowing rain from every direction. The tent held up like a champ. We stayed dry and cozy with very little condensation build up, most likely due to the great ventilation. For the money, I can?t recommend this tent enough. It is a bit on the large size and a bit heavy for solo backpacking but my son and I split the tent up between our packs so it wasn?t too bad. For a solo backpacker, this may be a bit large. The inclusion of a footprint is.another added value for this tent as well. As others have mentioned, the single zipper is a bit of a hassle but nothing that can?t be worked through. Luckily, insects were not an issue on this trip but I could see the single zipper being problematic for summer camping. This is my first Nemo tent but it has made me a convert. Very thoughtful design, well-made and great materials.

First time using it was on a beach. Rained a lot the first night and very dense fog the next morning. Everything was dry inside the tent and vestibule! Night 2 a big thunderstorm with some wicked lightning. Thought about bailing but stuck it out. Had to fix one guy line. It was amazing!

I bought this a few months ago but have only tested it twice so far. Both times, it was very easy to set up! I finally tested it in a storm, and ended up waking up in a puddle of 2-3in of water surrounding the entire tent. The inside was entirely dry! My only complaint is the size of it packed - it takes up the whole inside of my backpack, but if I hook it onto the outside it still works great for backpacking. All around a perfect tent for the price! Extremely impressed with how it handled so much water and wind.

I love the blue color and the Roominess. Perfect for me and my gear. Very easy and intuitive set-up! I hate reading directions, and although they are included, I never needed them. The pawprint accessory is awesome too and kept my tent floor spotless. I was quickly disappointed by the lack of two way zippers. You have to reach pretty far to open and close the door.

I?ve had this tent for a while now and I find it to have an a Normas amount of room the stuff sack is somewhat oversized so getting the 10 fold it back up and put away is very easy. Well this is more of a car camping size tent it works very well as a tent for taking on the motorcycle when two of us go out. I am very happy with the tent.

I bought this 3P tent in July last summer and first used it on a trip in the northeast. It was very warm while we were there so we did not have to use the fly and I was quite happy with the tent. I love the vertical walls and how well it fits 2 people plus a dog. When we came back to Colorado and started using the tent with the fly, I realized that the single zippered doors are a downfall for this tent. It is so hard to reach the zipper to unzip the tent from the outside when the fly is on. As much as I want to love this tent, I am likely going to return it due to the inconvenience of the single zipper doors.

I've been out a couple nights in this tent so far and am very impressed. Build quality is impeccable, as per usual with Nemo's gear. Also used it as a shade hanging at the lake the other week, love that option to just set up the fly. Lots of headroom and great ventilation. Excited to try it out in more settings this summer!

I purchased this tent for my wife and I. She is a bit claustrophobic so we needed a roomy backpacking tent. This tent has near vertical walls so it doesn't give her a closed in feeling, you can get a lighter tent but it won't be near as comfortable. We love it.

I purchased this tent last year and found it to be exceptional. It held up in high winds and provided plenty of room, I?m very happy with my purchase and look forward to many more years with it. Thanks NEMO!

The Aurora is a little heavy and has a large pack size, but for the price it is very good. Additionally, it takes almost no time at all to set up and is very sturdy. The vestibules are great, I really only need one even with two people because they are so big, but having an extra is nice. Another thing I have noticed is that it is also a lot quieter than many tents in high winds; I am unsure of the exact reason, but it makes for a much better night's sleep.

Great tent and lots of space, my only qualm is not have a double zipper on the doors and the rain fly to make it easier to get in and out of. But that is small potatoes for what the rest of the tent has to offer.

I bought this about a month ago and have taken it to Shenandoah NP and out west through New Mexico, Arizona, and Colorado. It is so lightweight and compact. I love this tent and all of the features that Nemo has thought about such as the wind flap for when weather is bad and the high coverage so that I can change with privacy in the tent itself. I have recommended this tent to all of my family and friends!

This tent is a more rectangular shape which is great for two people and for keeping gear at our feet or above our heads.

I recently bought this tent to use on a two night camping trip in the George Washington National Forest in Va. A buddy and I arrived and set up camp after dark at about 4,000 ft of elevation. Using a light, the tent was simple to set up with little visibility. The first night brought a light snow and a low temp of 5 degrees. Even though the tent is largely mesh, the rain fly provides enough of a barrier to be warm in this weather in a quality sleeping bag. The second night temp was somew...

I bought this earlier this summer. Used it for a couple of nights in RMNP. Was perfect. Very roomy. Easy to set up and break down. Love the features, the footprint, the "porches", the pockets, the height, etc. The features are very well thought through. The only negative (but not worth knocking a star off the rating) is the zipper for the door. I wish there would've been a zipper from both ends so that it would be easier to reach when opening and closing the door. Otherwise, I am very happy w...
