I bought this last fall and wanted to give it quite a few trips before I posted how I felt about it. My first few trips were in the fall in the midwest and temperatures dipped into the low 40s and high 30s. Just wearing tights and a t-shirt I was very warm, almost too warm (not a bad thing. I was also using a low R value summer pad. My trips in the winter dipped into the 20s and I was still using a summer pad but was in a puffy, tights, and hiking pants and was still comfortable. Compacts down pretty well, has plenty of room for side sleepers, and is very comfortable!

Was looking for a warm but not to costly bag that also wasn't too restrictive ,and boy I'm I glad I found the NEMO Tempo 20! As a side sleeper mummy bags are just way to tight, and old school rectangle bags too bulky. The NEMO Tempo 20 is a perfect solution. A couple early spring camping trips to the Appalachians proved that the Tempo could hold up to its rating, and provided plenty of room to get comfortable in.

I?ve had this bag for about 5 years now... and I won?t be buying anything else in the future!! Nemo has shown to be tried and true and I?ve told all of my friends about this bag. It sleeps so warm and it?s extremely comfortable. I?m a side sleeper and It?s seriously the best! I?ve slept in this bag all over the world and sometimes even in my own bed... it dries super fast if it gets damp and the zipper never gets stuck. I?m always the warmest sleeper when I camp with friends!

I bought this a couple months ago for fall camping and was pleased to find that it kept me dry all night, and warm with some extra layers (socks, sweats, hat, extra blanket. The shape is great: warm, and with just enough flexibility to avoid claustrophobia! I really like to "splay" when I sleep, and this bag was the most comfortable non-rectangle I've been able to find. There are a few reasons this sleeping back doesn't get 5 stars from me: 1) There is no reason to gender sleeping bags -- Let's stop with this. Further, and even more ridiculously, the "men's regular" is exactly the same dimensions as a "women's long," but the "women's long" is more expensive.... go figure. 2) I really REALLY wish this sleeping bag unzipped down both sides. This is definitely a personal sleeping style preference. 3) I definitely needed the extra layers to stay warm enough to sleep comfortably in 20-degree weather (plus snow) in central MN.

Great bag! Used it about ten times late summer and fall. I had one 30 degree night and was surprised I didn’t get cold.

I used my Tempo 20 sleeping bag in the backcourt try of Montana. I loved it , it had great room for side sleeper like me. Also the zipper system was phenomenal.

I bought this bag about 3 months ago and have used it several times now. It has plenty of room for me at 5'10" and it can indeed accommodate side sleepers. This bag is plenty warm, some nights I don't zip it up very much as it gets so toasty inside. Every night camping I look forward to hopping in my cozy Nemo bag. The only feature I'm not crazy about is the extra flap of material. Definitely not a deal breaker.

Seventy percent of people sleep on their side, yet mummy bags are not designed to accommodate this. The new Tempo blends roomy comfort with NEMO's popular Spoon shape for a relaxed, crowd-pleasing fit that packs smaller than a rectangular sleeping bag. With a generous cut at the elbows and knees, side sleepers can shift positions comfortably throughout the night.
Insulated with synthetic Stratofiber, Tempo offers the best blend of moisture resistance, comfort, packability, and affordability. An integrated pillow pocket allows a jacket, extra clothes, or a Fillo to be stuffed into the sleeve opening for a handy pillow-on-the-go, while Blanket Fold provides extra tucked-in comfort and temperature regulation mid-season. Left-sided zippers on Men's and right-sided zippers on Women's allow Tempo to zip together for a double version of these favorite sleeping bags.
