I started out with the jazz sleeping bag. My exped didn't fit well so I wanted to the roamer but it was out of stock. finally back in stock and it was worth the wait and the swap.

The Roamer truly is a luxury sleeping pad. It is not as bouncy as regular pads and feels much more like a real mattress. The only drawback is the size and weight, but I use it for canoe camping so it is not an issue. Best night of sleep I get in a tent is with this sleeping pad.

Bought this pad a week ago, and my son has slept on it every night since. It's so comfortable he actually prefers it over his own bed! I'm hoping he'll let me try it out one of these days - otherwise, I might have to buy a second one just so I can finally see what all the hype is about.

This pad is so comfortable. The size is great (31"x80") the inflation sack makes a good fill easy and they pack up nicely thank to the toggles. Definitely great for comfortable car camping.

I bought two of the XL Wide mattresses to use for car camping and canoeing. Super comfortable! The layer of foam on top really makes a difference. I wouldn't say they were incredibly self-inflating, but it came with a pump sack and filled up like a regular mattress. I love that they toggle together to stay close when sleeping next to a partner. They can move around all night and I won't feel it. I chose two over the double mat so I can use one solo. They pack down fairly large, but that is the trade-off made for comfort. They are expensive, but if you're looking for a luxury camp mat or an extra bed in your place, these are great.

I purchased this after using the same product sleeping over at a friends house. This is a must buy camp essential. Slept on it for many nights camping where temperatures were just around freezing. Paired with the right bag, it has great r-value keeping us toasty and so comfy that we only had great night's of sleep. Inflating is easy with the pump sack, it packs to a reasonable stuff size for car camping, and seems reasonably durable. The stuff bag is versatile and has convenient pockets for pump sack and patch kit. I LOVE this product!

By far the most comfortable air mattress I've ever slept on. The covering on the outside is very soft. A lot of little thoughtful features that Nemo is known for. The little tabs that hold the pad in place when you fold it up make rolling it up and putting it away very easy. The pump sack is always a welcomed addition.

I bought the double sleeping pad for car camping with my boyfriend and it is so comfortable! It is very easy to inflate up to the desired level of firmness using the provided pump bag, providing an amazing experience. So far I've only gotten to test it inside, but the warmth that the thickness of the sleeping pad is providing has already proved itself in my chilly apartment. What really blew me away, is that even when you are sitting on it (non-ideal weight distribution) you don't even feal the ground underneath you!

I bought this because I go on about a dozen overnight to a week long outdoor rock climbing trips per year, and all of them are car camping. I love my Tensor EC for backpacking, but the comfort I get from this makes my sleep that much better to have better climbing sessions the next day. I also like that if I ever go with a partner, we can connect two together pretty easily into a bigger mattress.

This is exactly what I was looking for in a car camping pad. The pad itself is filled with air and a thin layer of foam. Significantly more comfortable than any air mattress that I have slept on. The pad packs down small enough that I can fly with it when needed. The pad will self inflate a decent amount in about 15 minutes. Then you can easily use the air sack that it comes with to add air to it. The air sack is pretty unique to Nemo and I love it. You blow a little air into a sack and squeeze the air out the other end - much easier than blowing directly into a pad. Deflating takes more effort than a more compact pad but still not bad - I roll it up once to get the air out after letting it self deflate a bit. Then I do it one more time to push any residual air out and that's usually good enough.

We love this Roamer double for short family canoe trips where weight and space are not the biggest priority. It's comfortable and warm, and relatively easy to blow up. It's not going to blow-up as fast or deflate as fast as a smaller mat, but that's kind of what you expect. The thickness of the materials used in the pad make it heavier, but also more durable. I think this mat will last for many years and family canoe trips to come.

From a very picky sleeper, this pad is as good as a top-quality mattress. It doesn't feel like it a an air mattress, thanks to the cellular structure. It took a while to self-inflate the first time out of the bag. I eventually pumped in some air. It works great now. Very easy to stow away, and very light.

This mattress is more comfortable than the mattress I use for a bed, and can be inflated or deflated to customize the comfort for different body types. Soft and strong, it's the second one I'm buying, as my son "borrowed" the first one for an indefinite period. If you have cats, do not let them scratch the mattress. Otherwise it is very sturdy.

We are a bunch or glampers trying to ease into roughing it and this mattress makes it easy. Super comfortable, fits my 3 person tent perfectly and is super easy to inflate/deflate.

This mattress is so comfortable. The use of foam in the interior makes it so much more comfortable than traditional air only sleeping pads (also it makes it much warmer. Packing and unpacking is super easy. I like how Nemo has separate valves for each function ? this makes each task super easy.

Best purchase! The double roamer is a big purchase and I have No REGRET! After the first night camping my partner rolled over and said it felt like sleeping at home. It really is 4 inches of comfort! Open the valves, walk away for 30 minutes and it's over 50% inflated. Took it winter camping and we were never cold.10 out of 10!

This couple owns the double and it is the most comfortable camping mattress built for two. An added bonus is that the soft face fabric is quiet which allows your partner to sleep even if you are a restless sleeper. Fits perfect in our 3 person tent for a great glamping experience.

Turn camping on the hard ground into Glamping. This mattress is so comfortable and insulates well from ground heat loss. I expect years of use from NEMO! It is large inflated so make sure you have room but does stow in the bag easily.

I?ve tried a LOT of different pads and the Roamer is by far the most comfortable and warmest I?ve slept on. It is heavy but that?s to be expected of a true luxury sleeping pad. I?ll take the weight in exchange for the comfort any day!

We bought two of these right before a multi night trip last month. I have two kids under 8 and it has always been a struggle to get them to stay on their pads while sleeping. They would eventually migrate to ours, effectively removing me and forcing my wife to cling to her spot and leading to poor sleep all around. The Roamer pad is another level of comfort that I would say rivals my bed. The other person can move around on the pad and it doesn?t matter, barely feel a thing. It was a big purchase for us and I?m so glad we pulled the trigger. My only gripe is that it?s really hard to squeeze back into the bag, but since Nemo includes a larger duffle with the pad it doesn?t really matter. I highly recommend this pad. If you?re considering it, you should just do it, you won?t be disappointed.

The double is great for car camping. More comfortable than some beds that I have slept in. One note - we have a 2+ person tent, and this was almost too big. It will not fit in smaller 2 person tents. Long term this will replace a pure foam mattress in my truck camper.

I have tested so many brands and models (exped included and the Roamer is by miles the fastest and easiest to set up and pack away and takes up less space when packed. Only downside to the Roamer double is that it?s quite large and doesn?t quite fit into the backseat of my SUV, but I still made it work. I wish they made something between the double and single. Either way, best sleep I?ve gotten outside my own bed. 10/10

Amazing camping mattress. Packs down really small in comparison to other mattress pads of the same size. Great for car camping. Makes for a super-comfy night in the tent.
