Nemo Heliopolis Privacy Shelter & Shower Tent

I've owned this for a year now. As you can ready it is a great privacy bathroom however the shower is a little cumbersome. As a shower the bottom does not drain all the way unless you are on a little hill or on a slope. Which who want to poop or shower on a slope? So you are left with little puddles on your floor which cannot reach the side drains. None of this is a big deal. The only thing is when it's time to pack up I need to open it back up at home and let it dry and wipe all the mud from side walls from packing. It would be nice if they put more mesh netting on the bottom. I can see problems with that due to wearing out from walking on it.

This is such a cool setup. Me and my boys set it up in the living room today, we have a big Trail Life USA camp at the end of the month and will really test it. I love the draining at the bottom and the thought into the storage inside. The poles were super cool, I just held the center up over my head and they started snapping together. I am 6'4" and do not have any issues fitting inside. I may go ahead and set this up on my property to try it fault before camp. Only thing was I couldn't find the clip on light so I have to look again for that. Really happy with the purchase.

My wife and I had shower tents before but this one is like the Cadillac of shower tents. The space you have in this thing is amazing along with the windows. There's cup holders, sleeves to keep your toilet paper dry when you shower. Hooks for lights netting and storage. Im not a tal guy only 5'9 but the height space is enough for someone over 6. Last but not least its a Nemo and you can go wrong!!!

This privacy shelter/shower tent is great! We just returned from a 5 day camping trip and never had to step foot in a bathroom. It is extremely well made, and there is plenty of room. It's the best thing since sliced bread.

Brilliant design. Besides providing a safe, clean and private space for bathing, dressing or even placing a portable toilet, this tent has awesome features like an LED light in the ceiling, handy pockets, a toilet paper roll holder, a locking zipper, a place to hang your towel plus a few hooks located in convenient places. I love it. It's easy to put up and take down. At first, the price seemed high, but there is quality here and it's well worth the investment.

Bought this a month ago. Used it only on one trip. Seems like a good quality shelter with no complaints. It?s more wonk to collapse down and put away than it is to set up. You won?t be disappointed with this product.

I am the father of two girls. Camping site bathroom and showers quality vary from place to place, if they even have them. The privacy tent makes it a non-issue. Combining it with a Dometic toilet and the Nemo Shower is a game changer. No longer need to rely on public facilities. Highly recommend!

I bought this shelter for a camp shower to use in primitive campsites. It was used heavily last year when we were trying to be covid-safe while road tripping across the country. The water drained easily and the shelter was easy to tilt over after using it to empty completely. I was even able to take a shower at night using the included light. I didn?t use the feature that allows you to use the shelter as a ?Restop? shelter but if the need arose I would gladly use it.

I’ve used this privacy shower a dozen times. It is very well thought out and easy to setup with one person. It stands up well in the wind. The only downside (not a big deal is the retina burning orange color. I would prefer a dark green and camo color. On the bright side, I’ll never get shot by a hunter while taking a shower.

I can't say enough about the Heliopolis Shelter & Shower tent -- this thing is AMAZING!! I purchased mine a couple years ago and it's still going strong. We just took it to a family reunion near Ketchum ID and it was the talk of camp. This is great for car camping or rafting when you need a little privacy or cover from the elements when showering or setting up the groover. Constructed well and has held up in fairly stiff winds.

I picked up this unit so the family would have a place to change and shower while off grid. Its a cool tent that went up in minutes and has great little features all the way through it, including a cover for the TP for when you shower.

Couldn't be more pleased with this purchase! I got this a few months ago after deciding the public restrooms near the beaches were gross enough to make me want my own privacy for showering, changing in and out of my wetsuit, and evacuating my bowels - and man does this tent work fantastic for all of the above. Doesnt take up too much space and is an excellent choice when truck/car camping. My family appreciates it when we don't have to walk far at night to use the restroom anymore too!
