Purchased this item due to previous purchase and reviews of the quality of NEMO products and I am not disappointed. This durable rugged pad is perfect for backpacking and chores around the house. Can't wait to use it more but definitely pleased with my purchase.

Exactly what it looks like. Purchased to give me an option for longer backpacking trips where weight is a factor. Will also use around the house as a kneel pad and for kids sporting events that have bleachers.

Should have a bungee or something to keep it closed. Simple small and light weight. Will be using for sittting in the snow during ski races. Much better than nasty old carpet!

I have wanted to buy this pad for awhile now and I finally went for it. I am so glad that I did. I am not a camp chair-bringer on my backcountry pursuits but I am always left wishing I had something for my mornings at camp. This seat makes comfort in the backcountry so much better while still keeping weight low. I only wish it had a strap or clip to keep the pad closed, but that is a minor issue easily fixed with some cord.

My son and I do a tremendous amount of backpacking. We just finished a 52 miler out west in the mountains. He is under 100 pounds. This is a great replacement for a chair for him when we are in the backcountry. I also have one that I use as a glassing pad for hunting trips. It's lightweight, durable, and practical.

The Chipper is one of those small pieces of gear that ends up going everywhere with me-from trail breaks to music festivals. It's surprisingly comfortable for how light and compact it is, and I love that it's made from reclaimed foam. The sustainability story behind it really aligns with why I shop NEMO in the first place. Packs easy, holds up well, and adds that extra bit of comfort outdoors. Highly recommend!

It's light weight and small enough to keep super easily accessible, which is great if you want to take a quick break from hiking or whatever you're doing and pop a squat without your bottom getting cold/wet/muddy. Its great that they're putting good use to recycled materials that otherwise would have been wasted. I personally think the pattern is really cool.

I bought this on a whim. I had picnic table bench covers already, but was curious about this product and figured it could come in handy. As it turns out, I use this all the time now. It's great for picnic areas where I am only there for a short while and don't want to set up everything under the sun (like the full bench covers). It stores in the passenger door pocket in my vehicle and is so easy for me to grab up. Whenever I pull this out to use it, I can tell that strangers are giving me the "I wish I had that gear" look. Even though I wasn't into the bright colors, they've grown on me. It helps me spot that I've left out it out so that I don't forget it when I'm packing up. I would absolutely buy this again and recommend to others.

Good pad. I leave multiple in the car for wet picnic table seats and serves as great available ground barrier when needed. I would use it in more settings if it were more packable.

Wasn?t sure how I?d like this product initially. However I am very pleased with it and use it around the house which had mainly hardwood floors. This product is the go-to item I use when sitting or kneeling on the floor. I also like that it conveniently folds up.

I used to take a heavy closed foam pad made for gardening on the car camp trips. Bulky and not so great. The Chipper is different and way better. I'm happy that it's made from recycled stuff, folds small and is super-lightweight (meaning I can use it for backpacking and motorcycle camping!

This is my new trail necessity. I could park my booty anywhere without getting wet, dirty or poked by sharp rocks. Does that log you want to sit on have stubs sticking out? No problem!

This makes for a very flexible pad. I can leave four sections folded if I'm kneeling for extra knee protection or unfold for sitting on a hard surface. Light and easily carried.

My old sit pad was on it's last legs and I was so excited to see this fun and more environmentally friendly option from Nemo! My only complaint is that my old pad had a built in bungee to keep it closed and folded down a bit more narrow and this one lacks that feature and takes up a little more space. I also use this to insulate the bottom of my camp chair on cold nights! Wonderful for that!

I bought one for my wife and one for me to take on long day hikes. The product is great, easy and light to pack. We used it as a sit pad on rocks during hiking breaks. Product worked great on the rocks and provided a comfortable seat surface.

I have used this a few times. I had expected it to be lighter (yes i know the specs say the weight). It isn't something to keep your butt warm on snow either as I have tested that out. The design may work for the sleeping pad but a little awkward when just sitting on it. I like the feature to allow you to attach it to a pack though.
