I love how this blanket can be used in so many scenarios as previous reviews have stated. I use it for camping to keep warm by the fire, on warmer nights where a sleeping bag is too much or even as a camping pillow when it's packed up. Take it out on a hike to lay down on during breaks or for your picnic it's perfect and light for that too. I've even used it in the car on road trips to sleep in the backseat, at sporting events on cold nights and as a extra layer of warmth for my baby in their stroller. I can go on and on on the uses but now the quality; if you know their products you know a thin light jacket by North face can still pack a punch of warmth and comfort well this blanket does the same thing. My biggest plus about this blanket is that I have dogs and my blankets are always saturated with dog hair but because this material is like a sleeping bag it doesn't hold any hair and is moisture wicking making it super easy to wipe off and clean, which might not be the case if you have the fleece sided one but mine is not. Overall I love it's uses and compact ability great product

Got this blanket on a whim and while I might not take it backpacking, it's the perfect blanket to have on hand in your car for spontaneous beach trips or nights stargazing.

Soft, light, but with enough heft to feel like you're gonna be comphy all night in the Desolation Wilderness in February after snowshoeing all day with a 40lb pack. And the graphic is pure North Face. Love it.

I purchased the my Wawona Blanket and for something to keep on the boat or truck , storing it in a borealis tote together they make a great combo , one that is rugged but also stylish and easy to use .. highly recommend both ? love how it folds into a foldable pouch for space reduction
