I would buy again
I bought this for my son in college for cold weather in Ohio. It seems very warm and looks good as well.

2nd winter approaching with my McMurdo Parka in Beige.
I am on my 2nd year with the McMurdo Parka size XL, Men's, Utility Brown. And this far, I will never own another coat brand other than TNF. The McMurdo Parka is, in all sense of the word, Perfection. (in my opinion) the warmest winter coat I have ever owned in 43 years.

Large shoulders and bigger arms
Well made, been looking at all kinds of different coats. This is it, good room in shoulders an not worn like a tent. I'm 6 ft 2 inch 240 lbs, 20lb gut on broad shoulders. It's nice to find a coat not made for a budda.

Large shoulders and bigger arms
I'm a a larger man, broad shoulders, a bit of a gut. 6ft 2 inch with inseam of 31 inch. The lenght of coat is perfect for about 5 inches below standard waist height. I Dont care for the Eisenhower type jacket.

I would buy this jacket again
Durable stylish and very warm. They love it they play in it and also wear it out . Easy to wash . Am happy they love it and they can wear it for awhile. I will definitely recommend it

Beat winter coat ever!
This jacket is the best - it is very durable and warm. I love the pockets I can hold all my gadgets and wallet and keys and it doesn't feel biilky

Well built and warm parka.
My old parka finally died. I looked at many of them and this one the most of the features I wanted. Got it near end of winter so not much use yet.

Best Parka!
If you want a parka that will keep you warm in extremely cold conditions this is a parka you should get!
I bought this parka years ago and it's been a great parka! It's a stylish parka also. The pockets are great also. If I forget my gloves they are perfect to get my hands warm.
I recently wore this parka in -8 F degree weather and it kept me really warm. Anything below -15 and I also wear some layers of warm clothing under the coat. Merino wool long underwear and ski pants, a hoodie, sometimes even a small puffer coat (if it's -20).
I also have a Canada Goose Expedition Parka. I actually prefer the Mcmurdo parka over the Canada Goose. The Mcmurdo parka is well made and performs well against Parkas that cost 4-5 times more then it costs
It's also a well made parka. All of the stiching is well done. The material really holds up to wear. I have had mine over ten years and it's still amazing. The zipper is also really high quality. The hood is also insulated which is nice. The shell of the coat really does an excellent job of blocking the wind. I usually don't even zip it up unless it gets below zero.
The parka also looks really stylish.
Cold weather can be dangerous- the Mcmurdo keeps me warm and safe. When it's extremely cold I never worry about the cold because the Mcmurdo keeps me warm and safe. It's even fun to go out in cold weather.

This is a very warm coat. It runs a little big, so if you in between sizes, choose the smaller one.

Love the coat and the color
I bought the version of this coat last year with the pockets on the top and bottom and wasn't a fan of the design, so when I saw this one, I wanted to buy it to see if I liked it better. The blue is a nice color, not too bright but not so subtle that you can't tell. The jacket fits great and feels very warm and the pocket positioning is significantly better than the previous model. I definitely would recommend it to a friend.

Can't feel the cold.
Great but a bit long. I didn't want to size down bc I thought it might be to tight on my chest. Probably better for someone taller and longer arms. Regardless, it keeps me warm and I wear it everyday in the Chicago cold.

Awesome Jacket
Its a really thought through, well make jacket. Meant for really warm weather from skiing to chilly windy conditions. I highly recommend anyone to buy and keep one for years.

I would buy this product again.
The product I received was exactly what I wanted and the coat is very warm. If you're looking for a good coat to buy then I suggest you buy. The North Face coat.

I've been browsing around looking for something reasonable warm coat for my dad. Once I saw the coat on sale I knew I had to get it. Fast shipping. Most important of all, my dad loves it. It's a good quality coat will last for some years. Thanks North Face.

To big - Great coat
Held up great against the storm we just had. Love the many pocket. Even the good quality that north face has had for years. I remember having one of these early 2000 and it was the best. Now what i miss is the elastic they used to come with that made it tight on your body.
