The waterproof boots are very well made. But, the shoe is made too narrow on the inside and I cannot easily get my foot in the shoes.

Comfortable boots. True to size, but you might want to go up a half size to accommodate thick socks as I did. They are not difficult to get on when using the provided webbing loops. Fast on-fast off with the side zipper feature. Very happy with these boots.

The shoes are comfortable and not heavy which is a huge plus compared to other winter boots. They also keep your feet warm and have good traction. I would recommend sizing up for best comfort though, they run a little small

I use these boots for pre/post snowboarding. I wanted something that kept my feet warm, easy to get out of when switching to my snowboard boots, and easy to get into at the end of the day. These boots fit the bill perfectly. Some reviews say they are hard to get on, but I've had no issues putting them on or taking them off. I would recommend getting a half size up. I usually wear a 10.5, but I got these in an 11. The 10.5 felt a bit snug with everyday socks, which wouldn't work for me because I was looking for something that would be comfortable to wear with my thicker snowboard socks and on the ride home after a long day of riding. If you're looking for comfort and warmth and low activity, get these. If you're looking to do high activity, get the laced version.

If the zipper was more reliable, it would have been a 4 star, but the zipper goes down on its own and therefore the shoe becomes loose. I was disappointed that it would that.

My boots are for the long walks in the snow! I can't wait until I see the white stuff coming down. My last pair last me for 10 years. My kids and wife enjoy walks and play time in the snow as well.

I live in Cleveland, so good winter boots are a necessity, and these boots fit the bill. A couple days into having these boots the temperature dropped down to 2 degrees Fahrenheit. I had these on at work while outside for about 2 hours and my feet stayed toasty the whole time. They are comfortable and functional as well. I have had other pairs of North Face boots in the past and they also hold up very well and are made very well.

I bought these for my son for Christmas. We live in TX but he's in school in DC. He will have to deal with his first winter. He really likes the look of them and the fit.

There are many things I enjoy about these boots and a few that annoy me. Pros: They are very comfortable with good room in the toe box. They are extremely rugged, and the sole is sealed to keep water out. The side zipper is conveniently placed and slides easily. Cons: the neck of the boot is narrow which makes putting them on harder than it should be. This has improved as I've worn them, but it is still takes two hands and some pulling. My biggest complaint is that easy sliding zipper will often slide down while walking. The boot never feels too loose or wobbly, just not as secure. Overall I'm pleased with the quality and would order again.

With the older versions of the Chilkat the opening of the show was too wide and would bounce between my shin and back of calf. Now with the 5th version it fits snug onto my leg allowing me to use it in more terrain. Works great at a snow boot and a slip on when going to and from the ski mountains.

Super durable boot. Insulation is on point. I'm giving it a 4 star rating because my husband is a true size 12 so i ordered at 12.5 (thankful they had half sizes) but it was too small. I wanted to exchange them but I only had the option of returning. I then ordered a size 13 and those were snug. I have to send them back again. I'm now going to order a 14 and pray this works. This boot runs extremely small. Also they aren't the easiest to get on your foot. Other than that i recommended because they're beautiful and warm.

The shoe is nice, it is not meant for someone who will do a lot of walking though. I ended up having to change out the insole in mine and that made the shoe perfect. It's also a little hard to put on

First of all, these shoes are warm! They are also very stylish which is good for the New Yorker in me that just moved to Cleveland. The best part is the zipper because if there's snow that you just trudged through, you don't have to worry about touching the wet part to take them off!

They are used for work (I work on an open dock that sweats). They help protect my feet from the cold and other elements plus the grit o cob we use on the dock st times. Boots are a nice fit, the only draw back is putting them on, but since they zip that should be expected.
