Great boot for snow, ice and any winter condition. Laces are strong. Had them in negative temps through 30F and feet felt great. I wear a 10.5 and ended up in an 11.5. Save time and buy a full size bigger for sure.

Went snow blowing and shoveling atleast 10 hours that day feet stayed dry and warm and they are comfy and I'm not a boot person at all!

I bought this same pair of boots 12 years ago and they were the best investment- just recently wore out! They look great with jeans for a casual snow day or with my ski pants at the end of a long day. Highly recommend.

I bought these for a trip to Colorado to Winter Park. They were perfect for walking and playing in the snow. We went sledding and tubbing and these boots kept my feet very warm and dry and gave me a lot of support as well.

Loved it, I used it for hiking in the snow and snowshoeing. I appreciated the ridge at the back of the shoe, it helps to strap you snowshoe.

So far I've only used them once, but they made it through a cold day of ice fishing and kept my toes plenty warm. They breath enough to not cause my feet to sweat which is an added bonus in the high sierras. Additionally, I'm not sure if other boot manufacturers do this, but Northface has used their brains and used basically 550 paracord for the laces?which is what all of us end up replacing our laces with when the stock ones break, so we'll done, Northface!

So I bought 2 pairs one pair for work and the other pair for normal use. The Chilkat IV I use for work I'm a construction worker and I'm glad I got them and extra size cause they fit perfect not to mention my feet stay warm even though there 200Grams of insulation they are very warm. I do wear a thicker sock but they work for me. Definitely recommend them.!

I ordered a half size up, I normally wear a 9.5 shoe but got a 10 boot. It was snug at first and I thought I made a mistake. After wearing the boots on vacation in Iceland the broke in and fit perfectly. They were very warm and kept my feet dry in the rainy and snowy weather. They seem like they will last a while. Traction on snow and ice was good, though if walking in pure ice then crampons may be needed. These are good everyday boots, and I walked everywhere in them. One tip, wear them at home first, adjust the laces and get a good fit then just wear them to slowly break them in. They will fit much better with some molding to your feet.

Feet stay warm and dry while wearing these boots in the snow. What more could you want?! They do run small, so I had to go up a full size to be comfortable.

Best overall winter boot, super comfortable! This boot does run a little snug due to all of the insulation and padding. If you like a little more room, upsize a 0.5 for your comfort. I like mine a little snug so the proper sizing chart works for me. This boot is durable and is likely to last for quite some time!

These are my second pair. the only reason why I bought a sedan pair is that the first pair wore out...AFTER 21 YEARS in the winters of the Rocky Mountains. I could go on and on about comfort, warmth, waterproof-ness, blah, blah, blah....21 YEARS is all you need to know.

Keep my feet dry, warm, and comfortable. I usually wear a 9.5 4E in tennis shoes. After reading the reviews, I took a chance and ordered an 11 and they fit great. Would buy them again.

These boot are surprisingly warm and comfortable for the price. Definitely a great buy. They do run a bit snug as a result of all the insulation material. I'd give them a few days. I thought I was going to trade them in but ended up keeping mine the same. If you like the extra room in your boot/shoe, them go a half size up. Overall the best winter boot I've worn. They are great in the snow and are completely water proof.

They are good for keeping your feet warm, but they are too bulky, not to mention that the sizes are very different. I had to change twice and got 3 sizes bigger. They are also heavy, so if you have to walk a lot, they are not a good option. Beautiful designing though.
