Great quality, but questionable fitting
It's apparent this jacket is really well made, you can tell from the construction of the zippers and the quality of the materials. However, the fit is really strange. I bought a small and it fits great, but the back of the jacket is half way down my thighs. I'm not sure why the back is so long. I'm 5'11 and normally small in North Face fits me perfectly, length and everything. This jacket is kind of cut like a penguin suit, so it doesn't look good at all.

The North Face Apex Storm Peak Triclimate Jacket for Men
It appeared to be a 2019 model, so the one chest pocket was small. I wanted the model with the two large chest pockets, which I thought was this years model. But it s OK and the price was good.

Lovely fleece lined jacket
I wanted a fleece lined jacket that I could wear during the cold weather most times since I live in the Midwest. I specifically wanted something that was breathable, less sweaty and not goose insulated. I felt this was the only one that met my requirements. Since I got it I have had no issues. I wear it most days but during extreme cold temperatures I have another jacket that I wear. I also love the Green color. I will definitely recommend it.

The PERFECT ski jacket
I purchases this for my 16 year old son for Christmas. It has already gone on several ski trips, and it has been a great jacket. I think if he takes care of it, it will last for many years! As a nurse on the frontlines of the pandemic, so grateful for the NorthFace healthcare discount!

Decent Jacket, Interior Fleece Uncomfortable, Too Pricey
Decent jacket and materials. Pricey and uncomfortable fleece. Would be better to have a nicer interior, not cheap fleece, even though fleece is warm.

Southeast doesnt need extra warm but u do need wind/water. The heart of winter asked for a base layer when sitting still but mostly this is a perfect choice.

Incredible 2-in-1 shell system with 3 season flexibility!
This is a great 2-in-1 shell system that outperforms my expectations of TNF products. My only complaint is that it feels a bit snug/cumbersome when you're putting on the jacket when you're wearing anything thicker than a a long sleeve t-shirt. Thicker layering garments like flannel shirts, cotton sweaters and the like, tend to get bunched up or caught when putting on/taking off the jacket.
Otherwise, totally spot on!

Great purchase
I bought this coat for my husband to snowmobile in Michigan. He said it was a great purchase. He never got cold. I would definitely recommend for cold weather.

Good jacket system. One thing missing.
Great jacket system. Only con is the zipper construction allows a breeze to come through. My mountain jacket has two flaps that prevent wind from penetrating the jacket.

Great ski/winter jacket
Bought this jacket as an all-purpose winter / ski jacket. Love the features (pockets, zip-in liner), feels very sturdy but not restrictive. Sizing feels big, I'm 5'10" / 170lb and the small fit perfectly (normally wear medium) and I can wear a puffy layer underneath no problem. Am normally skeptical of zip-in layers but this one is extremely secure when fastened in.
By itself probably not warm enough for subzero temps, but with layers I don't expect any issues.
