So far a great coat
I have been wearing this for a couple weeks in a (so far) mild Iowa winter. It is heavy enough for the 15 degree days going to the office, but not too heavy for the 35 degree days. I think with a sweatshirt underneath it will work well for the days below zero as well. I'm not sure it is warm enough for sitting outside on really cold days, but for my use it seems to be perfect. I haven't had it for long, but it seems to have the excellent construction and durability I expect from North Face and I anticipate that I will use it for years like I have my previous North Face jackets.

I would buy this again
Very insulated jacket and great for cold weather. Little bulky compared to others but is made for weather maybe around 30s or above.

Jacket was better than better than I expected.
Shipping experience was as expected. Jacket arrived on time with no issues. typical of my experience with North face. Would definitely recommend this jacket for the winter. Wish was available in more colors.

Very Warm
This jacket is very warm. It blocks all wind and keeps you feeling very warm and comfortable in the cold. It is light-weight and allows you to move easily.

More then I expected, but then again it is North Face!
This jacket is light yet warm. The texture is amazing and it fits perfect. I am 6'2" with a slim build, the medium fit like it was tailored for me.

To go jacket fall and winter
Cozy, jacket perfect fit for fall and winter. This is my to go jacket. This is the best I have purchased from north face. Most important feature of north face is the quality and value for money which cannot be matched with any other brand period.

Awesome Jacket for most of Boston Winter
Awesome jacket. I got it for my FIL who absurdly loves it. The jacket is a single layer and perfectly warm for most of the Boston winter season. Even I own one.

Great product a little loose
This product is great, I like most things about it. Living in Chicago the weather can get harsh and this jacket was better than having a 3 piece NF that I have. I would recommend ordering 1 size smaller than you usually wear to see how it fits. This is my 3rd apex jacket and every one of them fit very differently.

a very nice jacket!
I really like the wind resisant shell and it is very warm for the weight and yet breathes nicely. i have worn the jacket from 0 degrees to 42. I bought this to replace my older Apex Elevation jacket, which i love and still use but is starting to show wear. My old one has pretty much the same features but has a little more give

Great jacket, would buy again.
Got this jacket as I travel for work and wanted the durability of a soft shell, with some insulation and a hood. It travels very, very well. The fabric appears to be quite durable and I've even cleaned chewing gum off of one sleeves with just some water and a damp rag. Weight is perfect for a Seattle winter, water resistance is good out of the box, but probably not right for heavy downpours or rainy day hikes. But for that, you should spend more on something with more features. I've gotten several comments from customers about how nice it looks, and there's just enough storage for wallet, keys, cell phone, and luggage receipts each being located in their own pocket. I hope the zippers hold up, they seem lightweight, and I can be hard on gear, but they're doing the trick so far.

My dad said it was super warm he loved the color it fits perfectly, he wore it on a cold day and he didn't even use another sweater under it he loved the fact it was super warm and it was for the rain because he has no rain jackets a lot of people complimented him about his jacket that he started to wear almost every day me and my mom was surprised how much he loved it I have no bad comments for this product would recommend for sure!
