Originally picked this up for an Urban Go bag ( if you know than you know) JIC I needed to ditch the truck. It was a good piece of kit that fit that mission set perfectly, not too big not too small. Simple, covert and fit my " mission specifically tools". The draw backs I heard were the the top bucket was too small and a tight for for most peoples hands. If you're wearing gloves I can see that. However nothing has ever fallen out. The upside is it tucks into the body for additional security when it's unzipped. The other drawback I heard is that the side water bottle pockets weren't big enough for a 32 oz Nalgene sized bottle. Well dummy, that's not what they seemed to be designed for. The pockets fit the THIN STYLE" metal water bottles perfectly and with an added piece of paracord and a carabiner they do not fall out at all. Gryal makes a titanium h2o purifier that fits perfectly too. Lately I have been using this bag for Airline travel AND THIS IS WHERE IT REALY SHINES!!!!!!! If you are looking for a carryon compatible pack this FITS THE BILL PERFECTLY!!!!!! 9 out of 10 would recommend and buy again.

I bought this for an Urban Go Bag to keep in the truck. If you had told me I would need to ditch my truck and figure out how to negotiate rioters who block roads and close city blocks I would have thought you were crazy. But here we are. It's a reality for me so here we go. I needed a low profile easy access bag that would not get snagged up. I needed something that was small enough to not restrict mobility but large enough to store enough gear to get home safely. I needed something that didn't stand out or draw attention "grey man" style. This bag does all those things AND is built like a tank. Its sleek, unobtrusive, is easy access and holds a bunch. It doesn't draw attention but still looks good. If you find yourself in a similar situation this is indeed the kit you need.

Got this pack a while ago and it's insanely versatile! I use it traveling around the US & overseas in the military, the movie industry, contracting trips, astronaut rescue and recovery missions for the all-purpose function, clean, civilian look. To be able to get this pack wide open lightning fast to access every inch is crucial for me during most work situations.
