The first thing that happened - literally as soon as I put the boot on - the zipper snagged the tongue lining. Luckily I was able to work it down without ruining the teeth. When they?re on your foot, there?s no good way to keep the top of the boot from chewing up your shin - so wear thick (and high) socks. They are comfortable when you?re not actually walking. Overall they are very average. My best suggestion is to add a liner to the interior at the top of the boot so it doesn?t thrash your shin.

I bought a pair for myself and a pair for my girlfriend. We live down in South Florida and let me tell you I put these to the test. I?ve put well over 50 miles through the swamps scouting and through 3D archery courses. I?m extremely careful w the zipper as that seems to be the biggest gripe, but I can?t say enough good about them. I added an extra set of insoles and can say without question these are my favorite and most used boots of the unnecessary amount of boots I have. I will 10000% be getting pairs in a few more colors. Highly recommend

I bought them in September 2021 and never wore them till November. I probably have 15 miles on them, and I was pleased but now the zipper on one boot keeps bursting open every time I put them on. I thought they would last a year or more given the fact I don?t wear them but when it rains. It?s may 2022 and they have failed. Looking for a replacement

Bought this boot 4 to 6 weeks ago and like its general usefulness. Getting it on is great getting it off not so great. Zipper teeth keep coming apart after being zipped up. I have tried extra care in cleaning and lubricating with a zipper was. Nothing works. Have to pull the boot off and then unzip it. Fix the zipper and I would live in it.

I am very pleased with these boots. I was skeptical about the long term function of the zipper but it is holding up well. The snugger ankle fit makes them ok for longer hikes in rough terrain compared to regular Mucks. I wear them half the year doing farm chores so they are used a lot. I would recommend them for sure.

I bought this boot for fall hunting as an alternative to wearing my calf high muck boots when conditions don't require transiting streams or swamps. The fit is perfect and the comfort amazing. Performance is also outstanding in wet / snow conditions. I have severe heal pain in my Rt. foot - boots provided great support and the ability to move without pain.

I would give these boots a 5 except when walking on snow the bottom of my feet feel the cold. That being said, I wear a 9 1/2 so ordered a 10. They fit great and are easy to slip into if I move the waterproof tongue forward after taking the boots off each time. I hate laces and ordered these boots because they have zippers which work great.. They are great boots but not for hunting in cold weather. For everyday all around boots I really like them.

The design is exactly what I wanted; the quality seems very good. However, the size (13) was on the small (short length) side and would have been uncomfortable, so I returned them. The width was right. So unless you're on the smallish size 13 side, like 12.5-13, you may find it won't fit you.

I liked the style and design of this boot. When it got to my house I tried it on. The boot fit very tight on the top of my foot. I think that it should fit more loosely. I have other pairs of Muck boots and this boot fits a lot more tightly than any other pair. I love the zip up option.

I wish they came in half sizes, recommend rounding up. Good return policy, but expect a month before refund. Those are the negatives, once you get sized these were perfect. Not a lot of ankle support but great for flat wet grassy hikes.

Very lightweight and overall comfortable boot. Only dislike is that it doesn?t come in 1/2 sizes but that seems to be common with most boots these days

These boots have seen over 200 miles of lawn tech work and wear this season. Nothing has faulted yet. If you are an E fit, order size down, if W, stick to your usual size.

This is my second season with these boot and my first muck boot. Super comfortable no issues with water coming on through the zipper which I thought was going to be a problem. The reason I gVe them a 4 star and not 5 is that they took a good amount of time to break in around the toes and after wearing them for several hours my big toe got black and blue. They eventually broke in but it took some time. I would certainly purchase another pair.

They are perfect! I have flat feet and am hard too fit. I hunt pheasants in South Dakota and walk 6 to 7 miles a day and need a good fit with good arch support and these Apex really fit the bill. They are dry and warm and at 70 that is very important. Easy on and easy off with good zippers and zipper protection. You guys hit a home run with these boots. I love em!

As with previous purchases these are well -made and very practical for everyday walking in roughy terrain. They are robust and good-looking. The main reservation is over the soles. Whilst the grip is good, it is a great shame that there is no option for a Vibram sole.
