Shopper : Does anyone know if this bag or the sea to Summit Ultra which one is better? I just have a regular backpack and just would like to have a cover for when I go bike riding in case it rains. I know nothing about these covers. Thank youBURTON R : the mountainsmith worked well when I spent 12 days ON THE WONDERLAND TRAIL IN WASHINGTON. I HAVE SEA TO SUMMIT DRY SACKAS FOR FOOD AND GEAR. sea TO SUMMIT MAKES OUTSTANDING PRODUCTS TOO. JUST WHATEVER ONE PREFERS TO USE.EUGENIA S : Measure your pack, read the description of each cover (dimensions) and order the cover a bit larger than your pack.
Shopper : I have a North Face Recon Day Pack - what cover do you recommend?BARRY B : Sorry, I don't know what will fit your pack. I have a lumber pack from Mountain Smith I got the cover for. I measured it and ordered the cover that was just bigger than the pack. Good luck.
LEO S : I have a Kelty Redwing 50 which has a 14 inch depth. None of these covers are. Can one of these covers work for me?TIMOTHY F : I believe they can. I have a Mammut Heron Light 65+15 Backpack, on which I front-mounted my Marmut 0 degree mummy sleeping bag on the outside, and I was able to cover it all with my Mountainsmiuth Rain Cover (size large). I still had plenty of cinch to take up afterward, so it was snug on the pack and bag.BARRY B : The Mountainsmith Extra Small (20" X 14" X 7.5") fits my Mountainsmith Day TSL Lumbar Pack (13" x 12" x 8") just right.JEN O : I bought the large size for an Osprey 65 and it works great. Not sure depth is an issue per se as it conforms to pack...Great value and fits well even with a full pack.

Good Rain Cover - Great Price

I have two Mountainsmith packs, the 12L Mountainlight Spirit and the Red Rock 25L. When I purchased the Spirit I was unaware of their rain covers and when I bought the Red Rock the XS size wasn't available. When I couldn't easily locate such a small cover locally I turned to the web. Mountainsmith had this size in inventory but the price and shipping charges were fairly steep and then I found Sunny Sport - better pricing all around and I jumped on the purchase. It folds up into a very compact little bag attached o the cover with a strap. The fit is great on both size packs and so far it is indeed water proof. I even used it once to cover by handlebar bag when it was raining pretty good one evening (I bicycle commute to work, weather permitting), cinched it up tight and threw my bike on the rack on the front of the bus. I would very much recommend this cover.

Works with Kelty Redwing 2650 backpack

Best value for backpack rain cover. The Kelty rain cover was twice the price. Integrated pouch / case.

Great Product for Bicycle Commuting

I received the product today, and it fits well my Swiss Army backpack. It should keep my stuff dries, but not the backpack straps. Anyway if you use a raincoat you shouldn't have a problem.
